In total a Gebirgsjäger Rucksack would have contained five different bags: yellow, red, green, blue and a shoe bag. The coloured label would indicate what was carried inside!

These gloves are constructed out of a very thin but warm type of fabric which would make it easy to use your hands even when wearing the gloves. The MPD code 1W/S Indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland and that the used material is Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Nice brownish bakelite cup to complete a canteen or a display!
