    Very rare and extremely scarce Eberhard Faber Taktik-Etui Nr. 542 in excellent condition. The pouch features all 4 coloured (yellow, red, blue & black) propelling pencils which are all undamaged and complete with their fillings inside! The pouch also contains its original tube for spare fillings. The pouch only misses the “Marschleistungen” measurement tool and the eraser which are virtually always missing from these sets. These sets were privately purchased from the manufacturer Eberhard Faber which designed this set together with some other products (such as the Krokierstifte) in a line with products designed for usage within the Wehrmacht (Spezial-Erzeugnisse für die Wehrmacht). The pouch itself is designed to be worn on the belt or to be attached to a button on the uniform, the pouch is manufactured from high quality brown coloured leather. Some stitching on the belt loop has come loose as can be clearly seen. Extremely rare set which are very collectible but very hard to encounter, especially in this condition! This set is coming from my own personal collection!

    Textbook first pattern folding E-tool carrier in very good, most likely unissued condition. This first pattern does not have the steel parts to hold the point off the shovel and has a closing lid. The closing lid has one very small tear as can be seen. This example is manufactured out off Pressstoff which was not used on large scale with the first pattern. The carrier is nicely marked Lederwarenwerk, Curt Vogel 1940. Excellent example which would be impossible to upgrade!

The felt is in excellent condition with minor mothing as photographed. These felt issued boots are in excellent condition which would look perfect on a mannequin in an eastern front display! One of the best sets I have ever encountered!

The helmet and its liner both retain a laundry code indicating it was issued twice or mixed owners which seems to be common in the ETO. The liner is made by Westinghouse, the shell was made by McCord. A nice and textbook US world war two infantry helmet, in good used condition!

The cap is in good lightly worn condition which shows in the liner. Outside the nap is still nearly fully present. The cap is marked inside RBNr. 0.0560/0117 and dated 1944. The cap is nicely sized 57 which is a great average mannequin size. Inside the bill of the cap, a small area has a small glue stain, see the last picture. Original and attractive Heer officers M43 field cap in great condition!
