The helmet externally is overpainted in a rough overpaint which is covered in a typical three-tone ‘Normandy‘ camouflage pattern. The helmet retains up to 90% of its original three-tone Normandy camouflage paint. The colours are nice, strong and vibrant. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and chinstrap and is in untouched condition. The helmet is a stunning and textbook example of a three-tone Normandy camouflage helmet in great condition!

Rare original winter camouflage helmet cover named Gefreiter Trekat
Incredible original German white helmet cover named Gefreiter Trekat. The cover is a superb and original period made example in good used condition with loads of character. The cover is photographed on a size 64 shell but can also be fitted to a larger shell. The cover is made out of two pieces of cotton, handsewn around the edge with reinforced apertures for the chinstrap. The cover is named and unit marked Gefreiter Trekat, 4./I.R. 24. indicating 4. Kompanie Grenadier-Regiment 24. This is a superb and very scarce opportunity to acquire a original white helmet cover for a winter display that would be impossible to upgrade.

Excellent Waffen-SS officers side cap in untouched condition. The cap retains its full wartime insinigia and the typical wool piping. The cap retains its wartime bevo eagle and skull. The cap is in textbook construction with false piping on the top with a reinforced centre seam. The cap is a nice medium size 57/58. Classic original Waffen-SS sidecap in the finest Gaberdine that would be very hard to upgrade!

The Götz von Berlichingen division was the only Waffen-SS division to have served exclusively at the western front. They have seen heavy actions in Normandy fighting besides the infamous Fallschirmjäger regiment 6. Tunic removed condition piece with light wear that would be hard to upgrade!

Textbook black field repainted gasmask canister. The canister externally features a field applied black overpaint. The canister retains up to 90% of this period repaint, and comes with its period affixed straps. The gasmask is a nice green canvas variant. The gasmask is named to Obergefreiter Friedrich Perzl, killed 25.09.1944. The canister has the Feldpostnummer 13435 to the following units

(2.1.1940-27.4.1940) gestrichen, wurde Fp.Nr. 29182 B
(28.4.1940-14.9.1940) 4. Kompanie Landesschützen-Bataillon 485 B

(15.7.1942-24.1.1943) Panzer-Pionier-Kompanie 813.The last unit noted Panzer-Pionier-Kompanie 813 was equipped with Goliath light charge carriers which makes it a very rare and sought after piece.
Another one with the same color (which is not at all post war), named to an Obergefreiter Friedrich PERZL.

Born 12/13/1919.
Dead 09/25/1944 near Aachen.

Original deathcard of Unteroffizier Felix Dirnberger killed in action during the battle of the bulge 24.1.1945 in Kalborn, Luxembourg. His Erkennungsmarke reads -91- 4./I.A.E.A. 96. Most probably he was part of the 2. Panzerdivision. Dirnberger is buried in Daleiden war cemetary.
