German camo helmet

Brown 1945 dated rucksack. This example is pictured on page 44 in Ausrüstung Volume 2 by Roly Pickering. This is either. a very late war ‘last ditch’ pattern general issue rucksack or a immediate post war produced example. These rucksacks were found in a small batch some years ago that has dried out ever since. The rucksack is marked ’45 and RBNR inside the backstrap reinforcement. The rucksack is made with brown paramilitary cloth and hardware in the typical brown paint. Interesting late war Rucksack in unissued condition!

Officers rank claw belt or Zweidorn belt (Koppel und Zweidornschnalle). The belt is a nice large size which measures approximately 95cm and is complete with the original cross strap. The belt is nicely marked Springer & Co., Berlin 1941. The felt on the inside of the belt has clearly been damaged by moths, but this will not be noticeable on a mannequin or bust! Nice officers rank Zweidorn belt!

Hard to upgrade matching bayonet marked Carl Eickhorn 39 indicating production by wanted and famous maker Carl Eickhorn, Solingen. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 1007 c and has nice clean bakelite grips. The bayonet is in very good uncleaned, unsharpened and matching (!) condition with 90% of its factory blueing. The bayonet comes together with its original leather frog. The frog is nicely marked with a manufacturer stamp and clearly dated 1939 which matches perfectly with the bayonet itself. The frog is in good used condition and has never been separated from the bayonet. Stunning bayonet with its original matching frog!

Perfect stond mint and totally complete cased Masken-brille. Complete with the manual, a spare set of straps and the original bag around the glasses itself. These Heer issue glasses were specifically designed to be wearable underneath the gasmask in case of a gas attack.

Nice original Wehrmacht issue Schlauschal, Toque or Oma scarf in good condition. The scarf was clearly marked on the inside but this has sadly been faded and completely unreadable. Nice and hard to find example in very good, most likely unissued condition!

Original pair of Styrian gaiters or Steyerische Gamaschen which are specifically developed and made for the Waffen-SS Gebirgsjägers (Waffen-SS mountain troops). The gaiters are in hard used condition and the fabric has lost a lot of colour by fading in the sunlight.

US army female photographer grouping. Found together and consisting of a female M1943 field jacket with liner and a small overseas cap. The M1943 field jacket retains its period sewn insignia including the US Army photographer patch and two rank patches for a Sergeant first class. The garments are in good, as found condition and originally came from New York. The back of the field jacket retain a part of a laundry number indicating it could be further researched. Hard to find female photographer ensemble!

Textbook US M1936 suspenders in good condition.

US M1936 Musette bag in good used condition marked LUCE Manufacturing & Co. 1942. Nice complete example with general purpose carrying strap. The Musette bag has a number written on the inside of the flap which is nice for further research!

Original late war (1944) general purpose ammo bag marked B.B.S. Co. 1944. The bag is in good used condition.

US Navy lifebelt marked NXSS 16847 dated April 30 1943. 

Neat grouping to Sergeant Snyder Daniel W with two rare Australian made garments. The grouping has a base of paperwork with name and rank which is a nice base for further research.

Rare and textbook single vertical Waffen-SS Totenkopf embroided collar tab. This example is in good, as found condition showing age to the skull but is otherwise unissued. This one was bought by me, straight from the grandson of a Dutch resistance member who collected ‘souvenirs’ at the end of the war in and around the town of Breda. The lot was acquired by me, straight from the family. A textbook example that was never in a collection before and you would never ever have to doubt the authenticity!

Rare early SS-VT sleeve eagle in the textbook, early hammerhead design. Typical early or pre war example with black backing with remnants of the original RZM label. Excellent Waffen-SS sport shirt insignia in shirt removed condition. The tag is in very good condition, with only slight age toning. This SS sports patch is extraordinarily clean, with no stains, holes or other damage, and only the slightest traces of age. It’s a textbook original example of this desirable patch, and remains in excellent condition. The patch measures approximately 10,5cm across and is constructed in the BeVo woven pattern. Original Waffen-SS rank for a SS-Rottenführer in good used condition.

Extremely rare and virtually impossible to find early SS-VT issued leather combat belt. These SS-VT issued belts are almost impossible to find because these were produced and issued pre war on a small scale. The belt is nicely marked “RZM 48/40 SS” which indicates that this was an SS-VT issued equipment belt. The maker/RZM code: “RZM 48/40 SS” is unknown and thereby the manufacturer of this belt is unclear. The equipment belt is of typical pre war high quality construction with high quality leather and aluminium hardware. The belt is nicely size marked 95 which would easily fit any modern mannequin but this example would look perfect in a loose display as well! The belt features some pencil writing on the inside: “Byx. B.” which probably indicates a name of the original owner. Excellent and extremely rare SS-VT issued equipment belt in good condition!

Rare original tropical Heer EM field cap for wear in the Afrika Korps. The example is a rare wartime converted example for officer use. The cap is a textbook EM example with a BeVo eagle which has been period upgraded for officer use by adding a silver cord around the crown and a leather sweatband inside. The cap shows moderate wear with the same patina overall. The cap shows signs of having the full bevo insignia, prior to having the national cockade to be replaced by a bullion example. The cap is a medium size around 56/57. Officer caps for use with the Afrikakorps are very rare, and this is a unique example that would be a great addition to any headgear collection!
