Nice set consisting out of a folding E-tool complete with its first pattern carrier manufactured out of Pressstoff. The set seems to be untouched but the top cover of the carrier has been resewn at some point. The carrier is nicely marked Sachs & Deisselberg, Hamburg 1940. Very nice set with a nice named first pattern carrier!

Unissued Tornister straps marked J de Valk, Amsterdam
Beautiful set of unissued Tornister/Affe carrying straps manufactured out of smooth black leather. These straps are almost impossible to find as a spare set, especially in this condition! The straps are nicely marked J. De Valk, A’dam 1943 which indicates this bayonet frog is produced by a Dutch company in the capital of Amsterdam during the occupation. Perfect Tornister straps in unissued condition by a rare and desirable manufacturer!

Untouched M31 messkit with brown strap
Nice pre war M31 messkit complete with brown strap in very good condition. The lid and the bottom part of the Messkit are a mismatch (lid HRE 39, kettle DMN 37) but this set is in untouched condition and was most likely used in this configuration! Very nice example with a brown coloured strap which really fits the messkit!

Rare enameled M42 messkit by Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik (DEF)
Messkits and canteens enameled in these colours are attributed to be made by the Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik (DEF) run by Oskar Schindler. Messkits and canteens, unmarked, in these specific colours have been found in the old factory storage of the former DEF. There are several other makers of enameled steel canteens and messkits but they all carry different characteristic features such as markings or specific colours. No other maker utilizes these light gray and blue colours and lacks markings. The light blue “wash” on top of the enamel is one of the typical features. The messkit is in good used condition. A very nice and rare messkit!

This model is sometimes referred to as M40 (not the original designation) which is a combination of the olive fabric with early features such as aluminium hardware and the leather reinforcements. The breadbag has a small white name label inside naming this breadbag to Heinemann. Nice and hard to find named and light used breadbag!
