Very early death card. The death card of Adolf Schmelz; killed in action 12.9.1939 in Lemberg/Lwow/Lviv in Poland. Not two weeks in the war Gebirgsjäger Schmelz was killed in action in Lemberg. The battle of Lemberg was fought by the 1. Gebirgsdivision. Most probably the earliest death card I’ve seen.

Death card of Gefreiter Josef Greineder. Killed in action during the Ardennes battles at Kesfeld / Eifel. Greineder was 19 years old and was killed 22.1.1945 in Kesfeld / Eifel and is buried in Daileden, Germany. The database at the graveyard indicates his Erkennungsmarke read 2659 – St.KP.G.EB. 423. indicating Grenadier-Ersatz-Bataillon 423. This battalion was the unit supplying replacements for the 212. Volks-Grenadier-Division.

A rare late war pulling strap for the cargo bearing snow sled or Akja. These straps where most probably also used to pull other light devices such as Infanteriekarren. The strap is made from late war woven rubber or Ersatz material. The rope is sadly broken but that does not deter for the rarity of this item!

Empty German 10.5 cm L.F.H. 18 casing
A nice original shell casing in good condition. Obviously fired and empty of any explosive propellant , free to own in most countries as far as I know (please research your local laws prior to purchase). The casing originally came from the Dutch city of Bergen op Zoom where they where intensively used in the fightings end of 1944. The shell casing is in good condition with most of the original brass finish remaining!

Wartime German Sinalco lemonade bottle marked Ges Gesch
A nice original glass bottle with the original decals and cap. The bottle lacks the original filling but has been finished so that it looks full. Pieces of bottles like these can still be found in the ground where German soldiers where stationed during the war. A bottle like this is rare to find in good condition like this and a collectible item.

A very nice Sanitäter Kleines Feldbesteck. These small pouches with the basic medical tools where carried in the small and large medical pouches by medical staff in the Wehrmacht. The pouch is of a nice leather construction. Complete with the insert but without the tools which could be found separately. A great item to complete a Sanitäter pouch with!

Field cutlery fork marked T.S.W. 42
Excellent stainless steel fork which is part of the Wehrmacht field cutlery set which were issued to enlisted men, NCO’s and officers. The fork is nicely marked T.W.S 412 which indicates production by an unknown maker in 1941. As is the case with almost all parts of the field cutlery sets this fork is marked with an clearly visible eagle which clarifies it’s Eigentum der Wehrmacht. Perfect as a spare or to complete a field cutlery set!
