Original black wound badge with wide hinge set up. Textbook but uncommon piece in very good condition still retaining most of its original black factory finish. Nicely marked “32” indicating production by Wilhelm Hobacher. The back of the badge is typical for this maker; Hobacher used loads of soldering attaching their hardware creating large areas of solder on the top and bottom of the back of the badge.

I have gotten the opportunity to obtain a bundle of 24 unissued, mid to late war textbook M1 bandoleers. They are all of one type; with the long strap made out of flat cotton, sewn double. Not a hbt woven piece of webbing, which is a rare variant. Here’s a chance to obtain a variant bandoleer, in unissued condition. The price is for one piece, but you can add multiple in your order. British dust goggles dated 1941 in metal case
Nice original British dust goggles which are dated 1941 in their original metal case. The goggles are nicely marked 1941 on the frame of the lens. The lenses are brown tinted, most likely against sunlight. Nice metal can with storage instructions.

These early and especially marked wound badges are hard to come by and extremely popular under collectors. This example is nicely marked with the LDO code L/16 which indicates production by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid. Excellent marked example!

Philips “Knijpkat” type 7424-03 torch
Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the knijhpkat doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is still in great condition and the torch still works!

General purpose dust goggles or “Umbral” goggles as patented and produced by Carl Zeiss, Jena. The construction of the goggles indicate that it’s late war production. The goggles itself are made out of a grayish coloured leather and are undamaged.

Original 1943 dated “blaugrau” buttons for Heer, Luftwaffe and SS. In 1943 a new “einheitsfarbe” meaning colour for all branches was introduced and used on all garments. This was never fully implemented but a large portion of the M43 and most if not all M44 tunics received these. From that date onwards “Graublau” was the new textbook colour for pebbled buttons on uniforms. These can be seen on original m42, m43 and m44 tunics, mantels and caps. Also the M43 tropical uniforms and Fliegerblusen featured these!
