Carl Zeiss “Umbral” dust goggles with green lenses
General purpose dust goggles or “Umbral” goggles as patented and produced by Carl Zeiss, Jena. The construction of the goggles and the pouch indicates that this is a late war production set. The goggles are featuring uncommon green coloured lenses but this is hard to see on the photographs. Ersatz construction made out multiple pieces which can be observed on the top of the goggles!

Rare M42 messkit configuration consisting out of an enameled body and a painted steel lid. Most likely the result of a transitional period in which they switched from steel to enameled production. Interesting configuration in well used condition!

M42 canteen marked RFI 43
Beautiful M42 canteen in untouched condition, the press studs are a bit rusty thereby we didn’t’t open it. The cup is nicely marked RFI 43 which indicates production by Rudolf Fissler KG, Idar-Oberstein in 1943. There flask itself is finished in the unusual green paint instead of the red primer! Nice untouched M42 canteen!

M31 messkit DMN 40 / AWF 41
A non matching M31 messkit, the upper part is marked AWF 41 and the bottom part marked DMN 40. Although maker seen the messkit is non matching but both parts feature the same finish and the same name Jäger F. Nowak which has been scratched into the surface. Beautiful unusual piece which is used in the same configuration as it still is with a period Feldgrau repaint!

Clear mapcase insert in stone mint condition. These where issued with map cases and used to keep maps dry in the rain and folded on the right place. These where also used to draw on to the smooth transparent surface to keep the maps unmarked. This example is nicely marked St. Orthey, Marienberg 1938.

The book is in good condition and as far as I can see still has all the pages. A nice book with beautiful and large photographs that should be in every collectors library!

Brownish bakelite canteen cup marked F7/S
Beautiful brownish bakelite cup which is in a good used condition, the cup has some scratches and a tiny damage on the rim. The cup is nicely marked with an MPD code which was typical for period produced bakelite items. The MPD code F7/S Indicates production by an unknown maker and that the used material is Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Outstanding brown bakelite cup to complete a canteen or a display!

Nice example of an M34 Tornister with the directly attached carrying straps. The Tornister itself is nicely marked E.G. Leuner, Bautzen 1943 on the leather part on the back. The carrying straps seem to be early issued types made by Otto Koberstein in 1936 which are nicely unit marked 1./I.R.45. The Tornister is in a good used condition and is a very interesting example which is named O. Gefr. Schomberg on the back with a purple coloured Kopiërstift which was often used to name equipment.
