During the D-Day invasion they were sent to Normandy where it fought alongside the 265 Infanterie Division. A portion of the Division fought during operation Cobra and the other secured the town and fortifications of Sainte Nazaire and Lorient. Hard to find original example! with a nice base for further research.

These buckles where recently found in the former Hitlerjugend recruitment office in Brugge, Belgium. Of a small number of buckles found I have the opportunity to offer you several examples.
