  • Rare transitional Reichswehr messkit marked ESB 34

    225.00

Very rare transitional Reichswehr period manufactured messkit in excellent condition. This model is a rare transitional example which would basically been produced after the M1910 and before the M1931 model. This transitional pattern has been produced in very small quantities after the introduction of the M1931 model. The messkit is finished in the typical field green paint for military use which retains for around 95%. The messkit is nicely marked ESB 34 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1934. The messkit nicely named and comes together with its original 1938 dated strap. This is the first time I have had the chance to offer this rare pattern!

  • German reissued Italian messkit

    115.00

The Italian army messkit (Gavetta Modello 1930) was a commonly seen item within the German army. Prior to re-issue in the German army they where mostly painted green by the Germans. This example came out of a small find in Italy just recently and would be hard to upgrade. I have 5 pieces in stock, they are all in the same unissued condition and would be a great addition to any field gear collection! I will always pick a nice example in the same condition as pictured with 90% paint or more!
