The can opener is also the base part which keeps all 4 loose parts together. The can opener is nicely marked 5266 but its still unclear which manufactured this should indicate. As is the case with almost all parts of the field cutlery sets this fork is marked with an clearly visible eagle which clarifies it’s Eigentum der Wehrmacht. Perfect as a spare or to complete a field cutlery set!

Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the knijhpkat doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is still in great condition and the torch still works!

Black bakelite canteen cup marked 4M/S
Black bakelite cup which is in a good used condition with some small surface scratches. The cup is nicely marked with an MPD code which was typical for period produced bakelite items. The MPD code 4M/S Indicates production by Kronacher Porzellanfabrik Stockhardt und Schmidt-Eckert, Kronach and that the used material is Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Excellent black bakelite cup to complete a canteen or a display!
