Field cutlery fork marked GK&F 42
Excellent stainless steel fork which is part of the Wehrmacht field cutlery set which were issued to enlisted men, NCO’s and officers. The fork is nicely marked GK&F 42 which indicates production by Gebr. kugel & Fink, Lüdenscheid in 1942. The maker Gebr. Kugel & Fink, Lüdenscheid is mainly known for their production of belt buckles but they produced a lot more than just belt buckles! As is the case with almost all parts of the field cutlery sets this fork is marked with an clearly visible eagle which clarifies it’s Eigentum der Wehrmacht. Perfect as a spare or to complete a field cutlery set!

Early war brown equipment strap
Nice early brown coloured equipment strap with quick release strap. The strap is clearly an early war production and features typical early construction details as aluminium hardware and brown coloured leather. The rough side of the leather has been used for the outside for the strap. Finding equipment straps in used but not abused condition is quite hard!

Distance meter or Kurvenmesser. The Kurvenmesser is in great working condition. Although these are mostly advertised as ‘ Wehrmacht ‘ or being a issued piece; these are all privately purchased. To be quite frank; 99% of the offered examples on the market today are most probably post war, with this one being no different other then it being advertised correctly. These pieces are however exactly the same as the 1940’s examples as the factories that made these never really changed the ‘winning’ concept. A nice mapcase accessory in good working condition at a sharp price.
