  • Stunning battle-damaged M35 double decal heer helmet

A stunning double decal army or Heer helmet in been-there, battle damaged condition. This helmet was produced in 1938 as the date in the Liner suggests. Both decals are still in very nice condition and the camouflage paint was neatly painted around it during the war. The helmet was worn a lot and received a extra layer of thick camouflage paint often referred to as Rautarn. The helmet has a wartime battle damage on the top. Most likely a explosion was near the helmet which cracked the shell. Most likely due to this explosion the rear liner pin was replaced at some point with a original split pin. Other then this the helmet is “untouched”. The Liner and chinstrap belong with the helmet and the buckle of the chinstrap has a drop of the green camouflage paint on it.

A stunning ‘killer’ lid which would be hard to replace!

A slim waist size (90 cm) works great for smaller belts.  The right arm has been posed such with a fitting hand that it can hold the barrel of a rifle as can be seen in many original pictures. This mannequin has been used by me in my collection for little less then a year.

The saw would make a awesome addition to a pioneer display and is really in very good condition!
