Nice original steel Erkennungsmarke or ID disc in good condition for Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment 51 which was a regiment which formed 1.4.39 in Weimar-Nohra from Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung 51. In 1941 moved to Antwerpen, and was renamed Flieger-Regiment 51. In 1942 strength was increased to 3 battalions. Was absorbed by the 3. and 5. Fallschirm-Jäger-Divisions on 9.9.44. An Ausbildungs-Bataillon was reformed on 9.10.44 in Luftgau VI. The ID disc is in very good condition with a very interesting unit!

He was a well decorated soldier awarded the Eisernez kreuz II Klasse, Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwertern II Klasse, Ostmedaille, Verwundetenabzeichens and the Nahkampfspange. Rare to find deathcard with high decorations!

The Zeltbahn is in an overall good condition but has one bigger hole on the left side.

The cup is MPD marked with the material S which indicates the usage of Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Nice cup to complete a canteen or a display!
