  • M41 Heer tunic with factory sewn insignia

A superb large sized Heer M41 EM Feldbluse in good, lightly worn condition. The green Einheitslitzen are period factory sewn to the collar. The early style breast eagle is period factory machine sewn. The insignia are all wartime factory machine sewn and it does not show any signs of moved, replaced or restored insignia or stitch holes. The garment was most probably kept for walking out because it shows little to no wear. The garment has not been shortened or tailored. It has a set of two period sewn award loops on the left breast pocket. The Ostmedaille ribbon is hand sewn but in my opinion it is added to the piece. The tunic comes with a nice set of early M40 style wool piped infantry EM shoulderstraps. The garment retains up to 95% of the wool fluff and is near mint. This is typically the rarest type of Heer Feldbluse that would be very hard to upgrade!

  • Superb EM Heer M40 field blouse and trousers

A stunning set consisting of a M40 field blouse and the trousers it was issued with. Both the tunic and trousers are in the same stunning condition and both in a desirable size suitable for most if not all modern mannequins. The field blouse is of the M40 type with all of its original factory sewn insignia. The early style breast eagle has been machine sewn on the top, flipped over and fully zig-zag machine sewn. The early style Litzen are also factory applied. The shoulder boards are in the same wool colour and white rayon piped indicating Infanterie. All of these insignia are original to the tunic, and have not been added, restored or anything like it. The early style breast eagle and Litzen indicate production prior to May 1940 when they switched to the lightgrey Litzen and field grey breast eagle. The tunic has not been shortened, modified, or restored in any way. I can not see any damages be it moth or repairs. Imo this tunic has never been worn.

The trousers are equally mint but have minor storage wear to them. The trousers are a nice size, just like the tunic. Notable is the early wool colour just like the tunic they are constructed of. This colour of wool was only used for trousers for a short period of time. The trousers are nicely marked and dated 1940.

This set has been found together and would make a killer early war display. Finding a original set is hard, especially a early M40 like this with the early style insignia configuration – a set like this is a one off and surely a centerpiece to any uniform collection!
