The cover is photographed on a size 64 shell but can also be fitted to a larger shell. The cover is made out of two pieces of cotton, handsewn around the edge with reinforced apertures for the chinstrap. The cover is named and unit marked Gefreiter Trekat, 4./I.R. 24. indicating 4. Kompanie Grenadier-Regiment 24. This is a superb and very scarce opportunity to acquire a original white helmet cover for a winter display that would be impossible to upgrade.

    The last unit noted Panzer-Pionier-Kompanie 813 was equipped with Goliath light charge carriers which makes it a very rare and sought after piece.
