Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

Pre war, second model scabbard Stormdolk with matching numbers. Excellent example in great condition with lots of its factory blueing to the blade.

Pre war leather K98 bayonet frog marked Gustav Sudbrock 1939.

Textbook matching K98 bayonet marked 41asw indicating production by E. & F. Horster & Co. Solingen. The blade has not been sharpened retaining most of its original blueing. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 6495 and has nice clean red bakelite grips.

Hard to find spare in good used condition. Often missing from many helmets, this is a perfect addition to a helmet with some patina.

Excellent brown leather holster for the FN made Hi Power pistol or Pistole 640(b). The holster is marked cgn 43 indicating production by Rohrbacher Lederfabrik, Josef Poeschels Soehne, Rohrbach.

Textbook hardshell P38 holster marked eue/43 indicating production by Otto Reichel, Jnh. Rudolf Fischer, Lederwarenfabrik, Lengefeld/Erzgeb. Textbook holster with a beautiful light wear that shows the natural leather colour peaking through.

Textbook chocolate brown P08 Luger holster marked Fr. Offermann & Söhne Bensberg 1940 which is a rare maker. The holster is in very good condition with a lovely brown colour that would be very hard to upgrade.

Textbook and supple 6×30 or 10×50 Dienstglas strap dated 1941 with painted studs.

Textbook, uniform removed US army sleeve flag insignia. Early pattern printed on cotton that came on wool armbands but often sewn directly to the sleeve. These sleeve insignias were worn as early as the invasion in North Africa to as late as operation Varsity. Rare example in good, been there condition.

Textbook US 6th Armored division patch with a greenback in good uniform removed condition.

Nice original Airborne troop carrier patch. Nice British made variant that was issued to C-47 Dakota personnel during D-day, Market Garden and Varsity.

Textbook US M1942 Jump Jacket, ID;ed to T/Sgt Robert S. Markel, 464th Parachute FA Battalion 17th Airborne division. The jacket is in good, complete condition period sewn rank insignia. The jacket is a good, medium size for modern militaria mannequins. The jacket retains its waist belt and functional press studs. The jacket is ID’ed using the ASN inside 33/64605 which is also partially inscribed in the back of the jacket. The jacket is in very good condition and would be a great base for further research.

Excellent M35 Heer double decal helmet with period masked tricolor decal. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and period placed chinstrap both in good worn condition. The helmet retains its Heer decal up to 90% and its tricolor decal is nicely period masked in Feldgrau paint. The helmet is a typical helmet as issued and worn in the 1940 campaigns when the tricolor decal was ordered removed or masked.
