Nice early M31 messkit marked G&CL 40 indicating production by Gehardi & Co, Lüdenscheid. The back of the messkit has the initials FJ on both parts.

Large document, photograph and award grouping to Eupen Leininger. The grouping consists of his high quality front vented EM/NCO visor cap by HPC. The cap is in near mint condition retains its period placed cocarde. The cap is pictured on a period large sized picture that comes with the group. The eagle on the cap is original but in my opinion replaced. The group further consists of a large set of his military photographs, KVK2 with document, his Ahnenpass and some of his Fathers military documents who served in world war one. The set is a very nice group that would leave room for further research and would nicely display in any Heer collection. Needless to say it is very rare to find items that can be recognized on period photographs!

Original deathcard of Josef Anreiter, KIA 22 July 1944 at St. Andre, Caen. Josef was most probably a member of the 9. SS Panzerdivision Hohenstaufen.

Original death card to Panzergrenadier Erich Millim, KIA 1.11.1944 in Neerkant, in the south of the Netherlands. Millim is buried in Neerkant.

Unissued bayonet frog marked Franz Brehme, Walsrode with a nice pebbled closing strap.

Textbook untouched world war one M17 helmet marked TJ66 indicating production by C. Thiel & Söhne, Lübeck. 

Nice original US M1 helmet liner by Westinghouse in good condition.

Excellent untouched US M1 helmet with Hawley liner named Louis E. Mertz jr. The shell retains its originally sewn chinstraps and cork textured paint. The shell shows various stress cracks which are typical for this type of helmet. The helmet is in used condition with loads of character that surely makes it a typical example of a combat worn helmet.

Original Holland related deathcard of Obergefreiter Georg Kapfhammer. Kapfhammer served in an Pionier-Abteilung and was killed in action on September 15, 1944 in the small village of Breskens in the Netherlands. The German forces found themselves trapped during the retreat from France and Belgium between the Dutch/Belgian coast and the West Schelde. Trapped in the so called Breskens Pocket was the German 15. Armee. The German pocket managed to hold out throughout October. Extensive research shows Obergefreiter Kapfhammer served in the 2. Kompanie / Pionier-Btl. 245, part of the 245. Infanterie-Division. He was killed by a “Bombensplitter” – bomb shrapnel and was initially buried in a field grave in Breskens, later his remains where transferred to Ysselsteyn.

Original deathcard with two photos of Unteroffizier Max Enderle. Enderle was awarded with the Eisernes Kreiz I. Klasse and served in an Gebirgsjäger-Flak-Batl. He was killed in action on November 20, 1944 in
Dieffenbach-au-Val in the Alsace, France. He is buried in Andilly.

Original deathcard of Funker Alois Ortner. Funker Ortner served in the Waffen-SS and was killed in Holland near Arnhem during an artillery barrage on October 30, 1944. A few days later he was buried in Velp. His remains now rest in Ysselsteyn. Alois Orner was buried opposite the Park Hotel in Velp where there was a military cemetery set up during the battle of Arnhem. He was a member of 3rd. Batterie SS Werfer Abteilung 502. His dog tag number was -4319- SS Pz Gren Ausb und Ers. Btl. 10.

Reversible parka mittens in good condition. The mittens have a few depot style repairs with original cloth.
