  • Rare candle lantern or Julleuchter

    1,400.00

Rare original Julleuchter in good, undamaged condition. There are several producers of these candle lanterns. This example is not made by Allach but most probably in Neuengamme. There are a number of sources for this specific variant which lead to this information. This variant is made out of brick material and is considerably heavier and made more roughly then the Allach example. A number of these have been found sourced from former Belgian volunteers. This is a nice original Julleuchter in undamaged and uncleaned condition, not to be confused with a reproduction or a post war example produced for the HIAG. Beautiful and decorative piece that would be a serious conversation piece for any collection!

    Interesting read; Julleuchter on WAF
The same variant with source of find; Julleuchter Neuengamme
