    Textbook pre war K98 bayonet maker marked and dated S/172 1937 indicating production by Carl Eickhorn. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 9468. The bayonet retains a lot of its original blueing and would be hard to upgrade.

    Rare first factory produced pattern MP38 u. MP40 magazine pouch in full rayon construction with square metal tips. This pouch is in obvious used condition and originally was displayed at the old and well known Falaise museum in Normandy. The pouch has multiple small shrapnel damages to the body and there is a small piece in the centre closing strap metal tip. Very hard to find and obvious combat worn magazine pouch!

    Nice original steel Erkennungsmarke or ID disc in good condition for Flieger-Ausbildungs-Regiment 51 which was a regiment which formed 1.4.39 in Weimar-Nohra from Flieger-Ersatz-Abteilung 51. In 1941 moved to Antwerpen, and was renamed Flieger-Regiment 51. In 1942 strength was increased to 3 battalions. Was absorbed by the 3. and 5. Fallschirm-Jäger-Divisions on 9.9.44. An Ausbildungs-Bataillon was reformed on 9.10.44 in Luftgau VI. The ID disc is in very good condition with a very interesting unit!

    The rarest of all German army utensils. This large serving spoon or Schöpflöffel for the Speisenträger is virtually always missing from the large food containers. The spoon is marked HRE40 but someone at some point tried to erase those markings. The large enamel spoon serves a good portion and is a impossible spare to find.

  • Wehrpass fo Obergfr. Steinebach 11. Panzer ‘Gespenster’ division

    Wehrpass of Obergefreiter Steinebach serving in several infantry units in the beginning of the war and 1943 was transferred to the 11. Panzer ‘Gespenster’ Division serving in the Werkstatt of Panzer Regiment 15. This unit fought in Russia in the region of Kirowograd and Tscherkassy. After heavy losses the entire division was pulled out of the front line and sent to the south of France to regroup. When the Allies invaded the south of France in August 1944, the division was sent to the Rhone valley and fought a delaying action towards Besancon and Belfort. Seeing some short action in Lorraine at the battle of Arracourt. The Division was sent to the Saar-Moselle triangle to hold off the US Third Army. in February 1945 the US 94th ID opened the attack from the Moselle river to take Saarburg. After penetrating the Westwall at Tettingen-Butzdorf, the 11th Panzerdivision was ordered to counterattack. Throwing the Americans back to the Orscholz line, a few days later they had to withdraw under heavy enemy pressure. By the end of February 1945 the unit took positions on the east bank of the Saar river opposite Ockfen. By March the division fought at Remagen and in the Ruhr pocket. Obergefreiter Steinebach was awarded with the Ostmedaille and later with the Kriegsverdienstkreuz II Klasse on 20 April 1945.

    Nice original Luftwaffe Soldbuch to Unteroffizier Wilhelm Löffel, Stab Schwere Flak Abteilung 163. This unit served in Luftgau Holland and Anzio in Italy. The Soldbuch is in good used condition with many wartime and some postwar entries. This Unteroffizer survived the war.

    Late war Heer Soldbuch to Fritz Bolte Ersatz und Ausbildungs batalion Panzer Aufklärungsabteilung 6 issued in February the Soldbuch has little entries. The 6th Panzerdivision went into American captivity in the Czechoslovakia.

  • Wehrpass Augustin Scherwitzel, Antwerpen, Mittelmeerküste, KIA Krim

    Interesting Wehrpass for Augustin Scherwitzel KIA 1.1.1944 on the Landlenge von Perekop, Krim. The Wehrpass is in good used condition with all pages and loads of entries. Scherwitzel drafted in January 1940. He served in the following units; 537 Division, Sperr-Batl. 194, Infanterie Ersatz Regiment 605, Infanterie Regiment 151, Infanterie Regiment 759, Grenadier Regiment 759 and Grenadier Regiment 121. He received training for Sperr- und Sprengdienst, Gewehr 95, L.m.G. 30, Gewehr 98K and M.G. 26 (t). He was promoted to Gefreiter on 1.1.1943 and was awarded the Ostmedaille on 9.1.1943. The entries read Einsatz Jugoslavien 28.3.1941, Abwëhrkämpfe an Wolekow, 3.12.1942 Besatzungstruppe in Belgien Abschnitt Antwerpen, 5.1.1943 Küstenschutz an der Mittelmeerküste, 1.1.1944 Abwehrkämpfe an der Landlenge von Perekop.

    A textbook untouched early EM tunic for a member of the Afrikakorps. The tunic is a first pattern example with all wartime factory sewn insignia in lightly worn condition. The breast eagle is straight machine stitched, flipped and finished by hand. The Litzen are straight machine sewn with handsewn ends. The garment is a nice medium size fitting mist modern mannequins. The tunic comes with a nice set of two tropical painted belt hooks. The garment is a textbook early example that would be very hard to upgrade!

    Rare late war flare ammunition pouch in mint condition. The case is made from blue webbing and comes with its original removable sling. The pouch is complete with all internal dividers and wooden reinforcement. Nicely maker marked and WaA on the side. Quite hard to find a better Luftwaffe one!

    Rare German made holster for the P.37(u) Femaru. The holster is constructed from a mix of webbing and leather. These holsters are sometimes referred to as being tropical issue as these first came at the same time with the webbing equipment. The holster is in very good condition and nicely marked jsd 1941 indicating production by J.Schmalzeder Erben, Dresden. The holster was also used and worn with the P.27(t).

Both coming in the same doeskin base material with slightly varying underlays. The collar tabs are a excellent set that would be very hard to upgrade!

These garments are meant for wear with enlisted men and rarely saw use with officers. The garment is in good worn condition with full wartime added insignia albeit the breast eagle was denazified post war. Still a nice display tunic in nice used condition!

The shoulderboards are a nice set of privately purchased matching examples for a Major der Panzergrenadier Lehr. The breast eagle is in good condition with functional pin and retains its original silver finish. The garment is a beautiful display tunic with very rare shoulderboards!

    Excellent original single Heer M35 helmet in a three-tone ‘Normandy‘ camouflage pattern. The helmet retains up to 95% of its period camouflage overpaint with vibrant colours and contrast. The single Heer decal peaks through the camouflage paint and has not been cleaned. The helmet is published on page 64/64 of The camouflage helmets of the Wehrmacht Volume 1 by Paul C. Martin. The helmet is marked SE66 indicating production by Sachsichse Emaillierwerke AG. The helmet retains its factory installed liner and is void of a chinstrap. The helmet is named on the leather liner and inside the front visor. The helmet is published and surely one-looker original camouflage helmet that would be very hard to upgrade!

Panzerdivision is a exceptionally rare to find and highly sought after cap badge. The whole cap is in untouched condition without any postwar alterations. Surely a killer cap that would be very hard to upgrade!

    Stunning and extremely rare carrying case for the 6×30 bakelite binoculars executed in black and tan(!) Pressstoff. The case is marked CXN 4 indicating production by Emil Busch. The case was sent home at the end of the war by a US soldier who noted his details to the top. This is the pinnacle of collecting Ersatz and surely one of the most sought after pieces in equipment!
