Textbook US M1C paratrooper helmet in very good condition. The helmet retains up to 90% of its reissue paint. The liner is a textbook late war Westinghouse paratrooper example. The chinstraps are factory sewn to the swivel bales and have never been replaced.

Nice and large photograph, document and award grouping to W Edgington serving in the 43rd ‘Wessex’ Infantry Division. The group is complete with his paybook, insignia, a small diary, numerous letters, photographs and awards. He was trained with a Stengun and as a Dispatch Rider. A nice group to further research!

Very nice early US paratrooper wrist compass by Taylor. These compasses where also known to been worn over the sleeve, the shoulder loops, webbing, or at the ankle over the jump boots. Wrist compasses were used both by officers and enlisted men. A very nice example that would be hard to upgrade.
