  • M31 canteen marked MN 40

    Excellent early canteen with the unusual brown straps and with all parts matching in good used condition. There are no real damages, only traces of usage! All parts of the canteen are perfectly matching and nicely marked MN 40 which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar in 1940. Hard to find an early canteen with all the parts still matching and in untouched condition. Excellent early 1940 dated untouched canteen with appealing brown straps in good used condition!

  • Tropical 1L Labeflasche marked ESB 42

    “tropical” M31 1L canteen or Labeflasche with webbing straps in slightly used condition. The flask itself is nicely marked ESB 42 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1942. Unusual but for sure original is the unmarked aluminium small 10cl canteen cup which was mainly seen on pre war medical canteens but can be encountered on all types of canteens throughout the war. These cups have been found on ESB canteens multiple times. Interesting canteen with a nice cup!

    Excellent pre war canteen with factory repainted green cup in good used condition. The cup has been factory painted green over the black paint, issued at a later point than production when other regulations were in effect. The aluminium flask and the green painted cup are both nicely marked MN 38 which indicates production by Menesa Metallindustrie GmbH. Neunkirchen-Saar in 1938. The canteen features some very interesting unit markings which are rare to find on canteens, nice for a further research!

    Heavily used mid war production M31 canteen. The aluminium flask and the cover are marked HWSD 42 which indicates production by H.W.Schmidt, Metallwarenfabrik, Döbeln in 1942The brownish cup is nicely marked with the 3 letter code gfc which indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland. The cup is MPD marked with the material S which indicates the usage of Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Sadly the cup is heavily damaged and repaired as can be seen on the pictures!

The steel red painted flap itself is unmarked and the strap consists of Mixed leather in a late war two-piece construction and buckle without a roller. typical late war gabardine (smooth cloth) cover with the reduced 3 press studs. The cup is nicely marked with the 3 letter code gfc which indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland. The cup is MPD marked with the material S which indicates the usage of Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material.

    Beautiful late war produced “M40 pattern” Kriegsmarine breadbag together with the textbook wide carrying strap. The breadbag seems to be a late war production with multiple early features such as the leather reinforcements and the aluminium hardware. Excellent Kriegsmarine breadbag in stone mint condition!

    Nice M40 pattern Heer breadbag in good used condition with an interesting mixture of leather sorts. This specific pattern constructed out of the light green fabric together with the leather reinforcements around the belt loops was only produced for a short period in 1940. The breadbag is nicely dated 1940, probably produced by Roymann & Co. but the stamp is not clearly readable. Nice and interesting M40 pattern breadbag in good condition!

All the straps are in near mint condition because they have been in the Czech army storage since 1945, one of the straps is showing a Czech storage stamp as well.   • German military issue wristwatch or Dienstuhr

    Typical issue wristwatch in good used condition. The watch is marked Recto. The watch is serialized 559513 (Dienstuhr Heer). The wristwatch is IMO a typical Wehrmacht issue, not private purchase piece. I tested the watch and after 1 hour it still kept the time. It’s not a watch destined for daily wear, but it’s a nice detail that it still winds and holds the time to some extent. The watch still carries its original supple period strap which are mostly replaced, removed or simply damaged. A real Dienstuhr can be the finishing touch on a mannequin!

    Tent pole or Zeltstock 01 in good condition which was issued to every soldier together with the Zeltbahn. (Every soldier was issued one pole, two pegs and one Zeltleine together with his Zeltbahn.) The tent pole is constructed out of wood with blued steel reinforcements on both ends, the tent pole measures approximately 37cm as it should! The tent pole is nicely marked G. Hausen Kbg. 1941 which indicates Gustav Hausen, Sägewerk u. Holzbearbeitungsfabriken, Königsberg, marked tent poles are hard to find!

  • Black leather Sanitäter pouches

    Nice original set of black leather Sanitäter pouches in good used condition. One pouch is nicely marked D.R.K. Sanitätslager Babelsberg, the other pouch is an early production and nicely marked Lederwarenwerk Carl Vogel, Cottbus 1936. The pouches are non-matching from maker but are found together as a set!

    Textbook early war K98 bayonet frog constructed from brown leather which had been blackened. The frog is beautifully marked Gustav Sudbrack, Bielefeld 1940. The frog seems to have been brown leather originally but the front has been blackened due to regulations. The frog is in good used condition and would easily match any bayonet!

  • Combat used blue rifle grenade pouch marked G. Spr. & P. Spr.

    Extremely rare late war blue/grey coloured fabric rifle grenade pouches. These pouches are in combat used condition which is very rare and extremely scarce, in fact this is even the first set I have ever encountered! Typical construction with rough and smooth blue coloured webbing straps riveted to the fabric with LUX marked hardware. The inside of these pouches both feature 3 small sections in which a clip of 5 rifle grenade cartridges could be kept and to keep those cartridges separated from other ammunition!  Each pouch has a field applied white painted stencil to keep the type of grenades separated! The left bag carried the anti personnel rifle grenades or Gewehrsprenggranate (G. Spr.) and the right bag carried the anti tank grenades or Panzersprenggranate (P. Spr.) This is the first set of blue coloured grenade pouches with this typical construction in combat used condition and with field applied stencils I have ever seen and have the pleasure to offer. Stunning combat used set which would be impossible to upgrade!
