Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

A nice Luftwaffe DR2 Dreieckrechner navigational computer. These 15cm discs where necessary in navigating with maps and coordinates. Typically carried by Luftwaffe aircrew. Nicely marked Dennert & Pappe and dated 1941 and in very good condition.

Petrix 646 torch in very good lightly used condtion. This torch was designed for para- and military purposes prior to the war. Featuring a compass and multiple filters and a lightbulb that can be focussed. The torch is in great condition and would be a nice and rare addition to the specialized torch collection!

A very nice light brown holster German holster. The holster is most probably for a 7,65 pistol and in very good condition.

A great pair of late war felt boots. Typical eastern front footwear worn and issued with the reversible, non reversible and charkov parkas. The pair is a nice large 29 which translates to a modern EU 43. They are in great condition, perfect on a mannequin! Hard to find a great pair in this condition and size!

Very nice lightly worn pre war Luftwaffe bread bag with its original strap.

Textbook M31 Splittertarn Zeltbahn in good used condition. Nicely maker marked and dated Max Scheffel 1942. The white chalk paint spots can easily be removed!

Rare original matching Heer officers shoulder board for a Oberstleutnant der Panzergrenadiere. Hard to find rank in good condition!

General assault badge produced by Rudolf Karneth. Textbook semi hollow zink construction with crimped in setup.

Rare variant first pattern butterdish or Fettbüchse with a high convexed lid. Not to be confused with the standard orange butterdishes which are common; this is the second time I see this variant with the second example being in my personal collection.
