He was a well decorated soldier awarded the Eisernez kreuz II Klasse, Kriegsverdienstkreuz mit Schwertern II Klasse, Ostmedaille, Verwundetenabzeichens and the Nahkampfspange. Rare to find deathcard with high decorations!

Heer Splittertarn Zeltbahn in slightly used condition but still with strong and vivid colours. The Zeltbahn retains most if not all of its originally applied zinc buttons. No markings are found on this example.

Textbook M31 Heer Splittertarn Zeltbahn in a strong used condition. The colours are a bit faded but are still rather bright. The Zeltbahn is almost unreadable marked Textilwerke Karl Anton Henschel Kassel. The Zeltbahn retains most if not all of the originally applied zinc buttons. The Zeltbahn is in an overall good condition but has one bigger hole on the left side.

Beautiful brownish bakelite canteen cup in a stunning condition without any damages. The cup is nicely marked with the 3 letter code gfc which indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland. The cup is MPD marked with the material S which indicates the usage of Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Nice cup to complete a canteen or a display!

German reissued Italian messkit
The Italian army messkit (Gavetta Modello 1930) was a commonly seen item within the German army. Prior to re-issue in the German army they where mostly painted green by the Germans. This example came out of a small find in Italy just recently.

The FF33 is nicely marked SABA 1941 which indicates production by Schwarzwälder Apparate-Bau-Anstalt, Triberg im Schwarzwald. The field phone is complete with its crank and battery box.

Heer photograph lot with Danzig skull
Nice and interesting lot of 21 photographs belonging to a single soldier from Danzig who sported the pre war Danzig skull to his caps. There is also a shot of a Splittertarn helmet cover and another few interesting shots. The lot came in a small postwar picture binder which comes with the lot with some post war pictures belonging to the same man. I have not scanned these; but it would be a sin to break up the group just for the one portrait.

Breithaupt & Sohn, Kassel in 1941. The lanyard would match perfectly with a clk 41 produced compass and this lanyard is almost impossible to find as a spare!

Textbook early war K98 bayonet frog constructed from brown leather which had been blackened. The frog is beautifully marked Gustav Sudbrack, Bielefeld 1940. The frog seems to have been brown leather originally but the front has been blackened due to regulations. The frog is in good used condition and would easily match any bayonet!
