Several images show the inside of the Pioneer-Kaserne in Klosterneuburg which was the base of this unit. Also shown is the Nordbahnbrücke which was blown up during the retreat from the Soviets in 1945.

The backing, Bullion and padding used and the design in the individual feathers is typical for SS Officer sleeve eagles. This one was probably made by a German tailor who previously made Waffen-SS Officer sleeve eagles, using up the wartime stock. Nice variant in good condition!
