Typical original US A-11 flight cap in size medium.

Original Holland related deathcard of Obergefreiter Georg Kapfhammer. Kapfhammer served in an Pionier-Abteilung and was killed in action on September 15, 1944 in the small village of Breskens in the Netherlands. The German forces found themselves trapped during the retreat from France and Belgium between the Dutch/Belgian coast and the West Schelde. Trapped in the so called Breskens Pocket was the German 15. Armee. The German pocket managed to hold out throughout October. Extensive research shows Obergefreiter Kapfhammer served in the 2. Kompanie / Pionier-Btl. 245, part of the 245. Infanterie-Division. He was killed by a “Bombensplitter” – bomb shrapnel and was initially buried in a field grave in Breskens, later his remains where transferred to Ysselsteyn.

Late war Blue Heer/ Waffen-SS flashlight in excellent condition. Textbook late war torch in blue colour that’s often referred to as ‘Einheitsfarbe’.

Beautiful brownish bakelite cup which is in a good used condition, the cup has some scratches and a tiny damage on the rim. The cup is nicely marked with an MPD code which was typical for period produced bakelite items. The MPD code F7/S Indicates production by an unknown maker and that the used material is Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Outstanding brown bakelite cup to complete a canteen or a display!

 

Excellent postcard sized portrait picture for a Waffen-SS Sturmmann named Herbert Grässler.

Original grey Heer EM/NCO collar tabs or Einheitskragenlitzen as first issued in May 1940. These collar tabs were factory sewn to all Heer EM/NCO field blouses right until the end of the war. Although these were general issue; finding original examples is quite hard. One pair only!

Original US Navy life preserver belt marked Contract number 445-128 U.S. Rubber Co Dec. 22 1942. Nice original example in very good condition.

Textbook mid war produced equipment belt in good used condition. Typical mid war construction with thick leather and a green finished steel hook. The belt is nicely marked Gustav Schele Lederwarenfabrik, Loburg 1942. The belt is nicely size marked 105 on the end of the belt, 105cm is a rather large size which would fit on most if not all modern mannequins!

Original late war (1944) general purpose ammo bag marked Canvas Prod. 1944. The pouch comes together with the original carrying strap which is stamped P-0718. The bag itself is in light used condition and is nicely named Swanson.

Nice unusual all white example of reversible parka trousers or Wendehose suspenders in good used condition. Hard to find as a spare!

Nice and original USAAF Pilot silver wings. This is a textbook example which is made by Vanguard N.Y. (New York). This is a nice 3” variant in width of the wings!

Nice and original US Glider wings. This is a textbook example which is marked Sterling indicating the usage of Sterling silver.

Combat Tips Bill mauldin is a booklet containing the experiences of combat veterans. This booklet was distributed to the replacements later in the war without combat experience. Interesting booklet!
