    Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the “knijpkat” doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is in working condition but sometimes it falters a bit which is not disruptive. The “knijpkat” is in further mint condition and would look perfect in a display!

  • MG34 u. MG42 barrel changing mitt marked gjs 1943

    Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Choice piece from my personal collection!

The canister is nicely named Badin. The canister retains its original camouflage paint up to 75% and is in very nice vibrant condition. The canister still retains the original strap, spare lenses, filter and mask. A classic Normandy camouflage gasmask canister with the typical bright colours that would easily be matched to a Normandy camouflage helmet!

Sch 1938 indicating production by Jetter & Scheerer.  The bayonet is in very good, matching condition with its original period finish and the Luftwaffe frog that has always been with the blade. The frog is a textbook, chocolate brown example with markings to Kampfgeschwader Boelcke. Choice piece!

    Extremely scarce, original, SS-Totenkopf marked K98 bayonet marked WKC indicating production by WKC Waffenfabrik G.m.b.H., Solingen-Wald. The TK marking is the typical ‘Lazy S’ markings also found on K98’s. The bayonet is unsharpened and comes with its original scabbard which has been made matching by a unit armourer or Waffenmeister. These bayonets were ordered by the SS in the 1930’s and there are 3 pieces known in collections known today. Extremely scarce piece that hardly ever comes onto the market.

    A very nice Dutch pre war helmet reissued in the Wehrmacht. These helmets where used and worn by secondary troops such as eastern volunteers but most of them got issued to members of the Schutzmannschaft. The helmet comes with its wartime converted and assembled German M31 liner.

The 3rd Panzergrenadier Division is a interesting unit who fought in Italy, Normandy and the Ardennes offensive.

    Late war Heer EM M43 field blouse in near mint condition. The garment retains its factory sewn breast eagle and kragenlitzen. There are signs of the collar once bearing Unteroffizierstresse, but this looks to have been neatly removed. The two large pockets have been sewn flat to the skirt. Otherwise the garment looks like it did not have any other modifications. The garment comes with two Infanterie EM shoulderstraps, one piped in wool, one piped in rayon. The garment is a very nice example in near mint condition that would be very hard to upgrade.

    Rare original pre war Dutch marines gasmask in untouched condition. The gasmask and filter are nicely dated 1938. The canister is nicely numbered Z. III 4599 (Zeemilicien) which is number matching to its gasmask. The gasmask is named on the top to J. de Jong and is accompanied with a set of 5 period navy postcards all dated 1940 written to his friends and family. A very nice set in very good condition that would be hard to upgrade and possibly a nice base for further research!

    A nice late war set of original rifle grenade pouches in used condition, which is harder to find than mint condition pouches! These pouches where issued to carry the heavy rifle grenades and the special rifle grenade blanks to shoot these. These bags are finished in blue canvas with black, riveted leather parts. The inside of these pouches feature small sections in which the rifle grenade cartridges where kept. The pouches are marked underneath the flap but it is hard to tell what the stamp says exactly. Hard to upgrade original pouches in nice blue/gray canvas as issued to members of the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS

The watch still carries its original supple slightly damaged but original military style strap which are mostly replaced or removed. A real Dienstuhr can be the finishing touch on a mannequin!
