Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung Excellent Luftwaffe issue aluminium candle lantern in excellent, near mint condition. The lantern is nicely marked Fl.U.V. (Flieger Unterkunft Verwaltung) which indicates this is a specific Luftwaffe issue lantern. The lantern is marked M.W.N. 1941 which indicates production in 1941 by a still unidentified manufacturer. The lantern is in excellent condition without any damages and even still retains some candle wax inside. Perfect example which would be hard to upgrade!

The wrapper is in strong worn condition and has a number of wartime modifications to the collar by ommitting the piping, slightly shortened waist and added internal cuffs. The wrapper would be a ideal restoration base!
