Excellent textbook late war M31 (Feldflasche) canteen with aluminium flask in stone mint unissued condition. The flask and the felt cover are both nicely marked EEF 41 which indicates production by Ewald Eigenbrod Aluminium-und Metallwarenfabrik, Freiling in 1943. In textbook configuration with an excellent black urea resin (type of bakelite) cup marked 46/K which is usual for this manufacturer. Excellent matching canteen in excellent and impossible to upgrade condition!

US Superior Magneto paratrooper wrist compass
Very nice US paratrooper wrist compass by Superior Magneto. Nicely dated and marked. These compasses where also known to been worn over the sleeve, the shoulder loops, webbing, or at the ankle over the jump boots. Wrist compasses were used both by officers and enlisted men. The strap is not the normal leather type but a period piece which came from an Elgin watch. A very nice example that would be hard to upgrade.

Excellent and quite rare US Navy Mk1 fighting knife made by Colonial Pro. R.I. which is easy recognizable by the all black handle which is unusual for an Mk1 knife! Complete with its original leather USN marked scabbard in good condition. Very nice USN issue example!

This booklet, a small format (approximately 10 cm x 13 cm, or 10 1⁄2 cm x 13 1⁄2 cm) pocket version, is one of a series of G.I. Stories of the Ground, Air and Service Forces in the European Theater of Operations, issued by the Orientation Branch, Information and Educa- tion Division, ETOUSA. These handy booklets, cover a particular unit or service branch, and were mostly distributed by the units, around the end of WW2 (late 1944-course 1945). They were intended to be taken along, or sent home, by members of that particular unit (passed by Army censors). Most stories were printed in France (after its Liberation), while only a few were printed in Germany (during Occupation).
