This example is beautifully marked arr 43 which indicates production by Braunsweigische Blechwarenfabrik G.m.b.H. The takedown tool would perfectly match a tan coloured RG34 kit and would be textbook to a complete set!

Excellent combat used and named steel M42 messkit or Kochgeschirr in olive green paint. The messkit retains around 75% of the factory finish. The messkit is nicely marked WJ 43 which indicates production by an unknown manufacturer in 1943. Nice combat used steel messkit in pretty hard combat used condition!

Carl Zeiss “Umbral” dust goggles with Ersatz material pouch
General purpose dust goggles or “Umbral” goggles as patented and produced by Carl Zeiss, Jena. The construction of the goggles and the pouch indicates that this is a late war production set. The goggles itself are made out of brown coloured leather. The pouch seems to be made out of a brown pressed paper Ersatz material. Nice example of dust goggles!
