Pre war matching K98 bayonet marked J. Sch. 1937 #9680a
Very nice pre war matching K98 bayonet in untouched condition. The bayonet is nicely marked J. Sch. 37 which indicates production by Jetter und Scheerer in 1937. The bayonet itself and its scabbard both feature the serial 9680 a! The bayonet is in overall good condition but sadly has a dent in its scabbard. The blade has not been sharpened retaining most of its original blueing. The bayonet is complete with its original leather frog which is marked but this is sadly not clearly readable. Nice pre war example!
