    Hard to upgrade matching bayonet with tropical frog marked cvl 42 indicating production by WKC Waffenfabrik G.m.b.H., Solingen-Wald. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 5393 and has nice clean bakelite grips. The bayonet is in very good unsharpened, matching (!) condition and comes with its nice tropical frog.

    A excellent bayonet marked S/174 indicating production by WKC Waffenfabrik G.m.b.H., Solingen-Wald. The bayonet has not been sharpened or reblued and has a mint look to it with most if not all of the blueing remaining. A nice pre war bayonet with wooden grips!

    A very nice Prewar RZM M6/1/38 marked messkit in mint condition. Unlike many tall prewar RZM messkits in black, this Messkit is executed in Feldgrau indicating production for the Waffen-SS. Nicely named on the back to Horst Gaüss. There is a single name match to Horst Gauss in the Volksbund database.

    A nice untouched EM/NCO M42 field cap. The cap retains its wartime hand applied trapezoid. The cap is in good worn condition and a beautiful patina all through. The nap of the wool still remains at most places. The shadowing of the unused parts of wool is obvious and natural. The size of the cap is a 57. A beautiful untouched cap, really!

  • Iconic Life Magazine, August 14, 1944 – Airborne infantry officer in Normandy

    A Iconic edition of LIFE magazine. The tough, haggard man on the cover is one of the thousands who are winning the battle for France. He is Lt. Kelso C. Horne of the U.S. airborne infantry. Men like Lt. Horne saw their hardest fighting on June 6, when many of them were landed behind German lines in Normandy with parachute troops. In the great breakthrough in France, airborne troops are probably being used as infantry shock troops. The picture on the front is one of the most iconic images of the war. The magazine is in good and complete condition. A true ICON for any Airbornecollection!

    A nice original Y-strap marked RBNr. 0/0576/003. This Y-strap is a rare latewar “riveted” variant. On multiple places rivets are used in stead of stitches. Another interesting feature is the angle on which the auxiliary D-rings on top are sewn. These are typical features for this maker but sadly the RBnr. can not be traced. The Y-strap is named Brack or Brach. A very rare late war Y-strap in good used condition.

The mapcase is nicely marked bml 42. Finding a better mapcase with a better unit ID and name would be very hard!

    Excellent Luftwaffe camouflaged gasmask canister named to Obergefreiter Brune. The canister retains up to 90% of its multi layered wartime applied camouflage paint. The helmet was once painted in a bright tan camouflage paint later to be topped off with grey Luftwaffe paint. The canister is named on the lens compartment and the bottom. A very aesthetic been there piece in great condition!

    Scarce original tool kit for the m. Gr. W. 34 mortar. Very hard to find with the pull tab and the carrying loop intact.

    A nice untouched set with a late war unmarked Overhoff buckle. The belt is personalized and marked WURM and marked with a possible feldpostnumber. The belt is in a nice large size fitting most if not all types of mannequins and clothing combinations. The buckle is in very good condition with over 90% of its original finish remaining. If you are looking for a lightly worn Waffen-SS belt buckle with its original buckle this is it.

    Nice original Wartime map depicting most of the area of the Falaise pocket, Normandy. The area depicted was the ground last major battle in Normandy.

    A very nice original Laufschützer 43, a barrel carrier designed to carry both the MG34 and MG42 barrels. The barrel carrier comes with its originally attached sling in full length. The paint still retains up to 90% on this piece and it would be very hard to upgrade this piece. Most barrel carriers on the market have replaced slings, been repainted or even stripped and blued postwar. This one is a fully untouched late war example in very good original condition!

    Scarce late war mint riveted Y-strap complete with rucksack in a set, as issued together. Both pieces are marked RB-Nr. 0/0766/0004. Very hard to find a matching rucksack to a Y-strap.

    A very nice US M1 helmet complete with its original paint, straps and liner. The helmet shell is nicely marked and the shape of the shell indicates production by McCord Radiator and Manufacturing Company of Detroit. The seam on the helmet shell is on the front and the bales are of the Fixed Bale type. The helmet liner is marked with a F indicating production by Firestone. A nice and honest M1 helmet in good condition.

    A very nice pioneer handsaw marked jln 1943 indicating production by Deutsche Lederwerkstaetten GmbH, Pirmasens. The blade is in good condition with all the teeth intact. This pioneer saw comes with the textbook rubber(!) scabbard dated 1942. A very nice example with a rare rubberized carrier!

  • MG34 cleaning can

    German machine guns were commonly supplied with soaking cans for muzzle components the make cleaning easier. The soaking medium was kerosene, referred in the German literature as Petroleum. The practice went back at least as early as the MG 08.  The MG 34 soaking can was designed to hold the recoil booster assembly, which consists of the flash suppressor, recoil booster housing, and recoil booster cone.

    Stunning mint Coastal Artillerie Nicely marked RBNr. 0/0520/0017 indicating production by Hermann Potthoff Coesfeld. The cap is a exceptional large size 61 and is a textbook example of a Einheitsfeldmütze fuhr Küstenartillerie. The cap features its factory sewn insignia and full lining. Underneath the cap has a few moth nips, but otherwise its just perfect. Can’t be upgraded!

    A very nice mint example of a pair of Wehrmacht Heer M43 combat trousers or Keilhosen. In good mint condition with all its original sewn buttons. The wool is in great condition without repairs and still has most of the nap and full contrasted field grey color remaining. There are one or two tiny moth holes, otherwise perfect. The size is large and would fit most if not all mannequins. The leg ties are intact. A great pair for a mannequin that is very hard to find in this perfect condition and size!

    The named unit is that of Panzerjager-Abteilung 371 which was founded in Beverloo, Belgium. In the combination with the rank of Freiwillige It would suggest that it could be of a Belgian volunteer. The canister is nicely brush painted with dark green camouflage paint and still retains most of this characteristic paint.

  • Rare enameled M42 messkit by Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik (DEF)

    Messkits and canteens enameled in these colours are attributed to be made by the Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik (DEF) run by Oskar Schindler. Messkits and canteens, unmarked, in these specific colours have been found in the old factory storage of the former DEF.  There are several other makers of enameled steel canteens and messkits but they all carry different characteristic features such as markings or specific colours. No other maker utilizes these light gray and blue colours and lacks markings. The light blue “wash” on top of the enamel is one of the typical features. The messkit is in good used condition and has one hardly noticeable period repair to the hinges. A very nice and rare messkit!

  • Luftwaffe M40 Normandy camouflage helmet

    A great original three-tone Normandy camouflage helmet coming directly from a barn in Sannerville, Normandy. This helmet is in untouched condition. It has not been cleaned, polished or anything done to it. The helmet is a nice M40 with a single Luftwaffe decal. The decal has been painted over and is not cleaned! This is a original Normandy camouflage helmet, actually coming from Normandy after 75 years!

  • Three-tone camouflage gasmask named to Gefr. Geisler L51920

    Stunning three-tone camouflage gasmask named Gefr. Geisler L51920. The gasmask retains up to 90% of its original wartime applied camouflage paint in nice vibrant colours. Inside on the spare lens compartment one can see the name for Gefreiter Geisler with a Luftwaffe feldpost number L51920 and Stab 691 indicating Gefreiter Geisler was in Leichte Flak-Abteilung 691 which was stationed first in Montpellier, and later in Antwerpen, Belgium, ‘S Hertogenbosch and Arnhem. This is a very nice original camouflage gasmask with lots of potential further research. The gasmask would be a very nice addition to any camouflage collection and would be very hard to upgrade!

    Nice original pre war Heer belt and buckle marked S.H. U. Co. 40 indicating production by Sohni, Heubach & Co. The belt is a nice early production marked Hruby & Co Hachenburg 1939. The buckle still has a lot of paint left and is a rare example to find as a original. The belt seems to be lightly named inside the tongue.

    A nice and stunning M35 SE60 winter camouflage or Schneetarn helmet. The helmet retains most of its original wartime paint. Original winter camouflage helmets are very scarce as most where overpainted in the following spring. This being a very aesthetic original example in very good condition!
