  • Two carton door signs from Oosterbeek

    A nice set of two paper door signs for a Adjudant and Hauptmann und Battalionsführer. The signs are made of paper and hand written with a typical font. The signs are 11,5 x 5 and 15 x 7,5 cm. The signs where found in a private household in Oosterbeek on the Hartensteinlaan 9, which is in front of the Hartenstein Museum which was used as a headquarters during the Battle of Arnhem.

    Late war unissued Luftwaffe belt buckle with 99% of its factory paint remaining.

  • Soldbuch of Uffz. Erich Sölken, 220 Pz. Pi. Btl. 21. Pz. Div. Nordwind

    Unteroffizier Sölken served in the 220 Panzer Pionier Btl. of the 21. Panzer Division which fought strong delaying actions against the allied troops in the region of Lothringen and Saarpfalz in 1944. In January 1945 the 21. Panzer Division was ordered to participate in the Nordwind offensive. The unit fought in the famous tank battle at Hatten on January 16 and after that advanced through the Hagenau forest in the direction of Rohrwiller where the division was once more heavily engaged with the Americans. For his actions during the Nordwind offensive Uffz. Sölken was awarded with the Eisernes Kreuz II Klasse and Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz.

    By February 1945 the 21. Pz. Div. was rushed to the eastern front in the vicinity of Rietschen along the Neisse river. The division fought the Russians while it retreated towards Weisswasser and finally Cottbus. For his actions on the eastern front Sölken would be awarded with the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen.

    His last known unit was a Kampfgruppe, named Pz. Gren. Btl. Bischoff. Most probably made up from the last remnants of the 21. Panzer Division. The Soldbuch comes with a nice set of photos of Sölken, his family and his unit.

  • Soldbuch and EKM to Uffz. Albert Loffink 9. VGD – Bastogne, Schumanns-Eck and Wiltz

    Ersatz- Ausfertigungs Soldbuch to Unteroffizier Albert Loffink who served on the eastern front from 1941 to 1944. He was then transferred to the 57. Grenadier Regiment / 9. Volks Grenadier Division. This unit was heavily engaged during the Battle of the Bulge east of Bastogne in the region of Nothum, Schumanns-Eck and Wiltz. He was awarded with the Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, Eisernes Kreuz II Klasse, Krimschild, Ostmedaille and the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen. The Soldbuch comes with its original Erkennungsmarke or ID disc marked 2. J. Ers. Btl. 57 which is also noted in the Soldbuch. A very nice Soldbuch complete with the original ID tag that can be attributed to the Battle of the Bulge!

  • Soldbuch of Schützen Horst Meyer, Gren. Regt. 257 ID Nordwind

    Seyer served with the 466. Grenadier Regiment as part of the 257. Infanterie Division. He was first equipped with a K43 and later with a MP40. His unit attacked in the opening days of the Nordwind offensive in the region of Bitche, France. The 257. ID. broke through the American defenses towards the town of Reyersviller and occupied the hills of Steinkopf, Signalberg and Spitzberg. Seyer’s unit was heavily engaged with the 399th Infantry regiment of the 100th US Infantry division in this sector throughout January 1945. During these battles in harsh winter conditions Seyer was taken off the frontline due to frost bite. He was awarded the Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber on 12.02.1945. A nice Soldbuch which would be a great base of further research.

  • Award document silver wound badge Panzerjäger Abt. 12 04.02.1945

    Verwundeten Abzeichen im Silber document to Sanitäts Unteroffizier Gerhard Genäht, 4. Kompanie Panzerjäger Abteilung 12. His unit was part of the 12. Volksgrenadier Division which fought in the opening days of the Battle of the Bulge and attacked Losheimergraben on December 16 1944. It fought its way through Belgium until sustaining heavy losses in the region of Hierlot. On 13 January 1945 Sanitäts Unteroffizier Gerhard Genäht was wounded for the third time during the war. On this date the 12 VGD was positioned in Vielsalm. His VWA document was signed by the Abteilungskommandeur on the 4th of February 1945 when the 12 VGD was engaged in the area of Gemünd.

    A very good condition plane tree 1/1 hand screened Waffen-SS Zeltbahn. Nicely maker marked and dated 1943. This particular example has nice strong colours and most of its originally sewn buttons and would be hard to upgrade!

    Nice original Dienstglas in tan colour. Nicely marked CAG indicating production by Swarovski. The binoculars are usable but there is some dust inside the lenses. The Strichplatte is firmly in place in the right eyepiece.

    A textbook Heer M40 single decal helmet marked ET64 indicating production by Eissenhuttewerke ThaleThe helmet is complete with its original 1941 dated reinforced aluminum liner and 1940 dated chinstrap that are original to the helmet. The chinstrap is full length, supple and marked. The chinstrap is intact but has a small tear under the buckle but is in good supple condition. The helmet retains up to 90% of its original factory paint and 95% of its decal.  All in all a very nice helmet in very good condition.

The helmet comes with a uncommon Int’l molded plastics co liner in very good condition. The helmet is a great and textbook example of a untouched US M1 helmet in very good used condition!

  • Heer EM/NCO M43 field cap

    Stunning example of a untouched Heer EM/NCO field cap. The cap is a great example of a wartime converted EM/NCO M42 field cap with a added visor. The cap retains its originally triangular sewn T-eagle and retains its two buttons from which the top one is loose but held in place by the buttonhole. The cap is nicely lined in rayon showing remnants of the markings in the crown. The cap is a nice medium size most probably 56. The cap shows loads of character; to me this cap really has it all.

  • SE66 M40 double decal Polizei helmet

    Textbook example of a M40 Polizei helmet made to M35 specs. The shell is marked SE66 indicating production by Sächsische Emaillier und Stanzwerke A.G. The helmet is a rarer example being made to the M35 specs; one of the first made with the M40 shell with its factory installed aluminum reinforced liner. The helmet retains its factory applied smooth green paint up to 75% with both decals in good condition.

  • US M1 Carbine sling

    Rare original and wartime US M1 carbine sling in good used condition. Nicely maker marked and dated as it should be and executed in Khaki. The sling as two C-shaped metal tips and a working lift the dot press stud. The sling comes with its original Oiler and although it was a general issue item these slings are actually quite hard to get nowadays.

    Rare original reversible winter parka for Heer and Luftwaffe in the rare late war reversed Splittertarn camouflage pattern.  The garment is in unissued condition with minor storage wear to the white side. The garment retains all of its originally sewn buttons and strong vibrant colours. The garment is nicely marked RB Nr. 0/0560/0042 and a good mannequin size. Very hard to obtain original garment in a rare camouflage pattern!

    Nice original leather Erkennungsmarke pouch in good used condition. Would be easily matched to a Erkennungsmarke in the same condition. The pouch is nicely named and imo unit marked but hard to read. With some time to study it would be a nice research subject.

    A stunning KIA ET64 M35 Heer / Waffen-SS sawdust camouflage helmet. Over 90% of its original finish with the decals still underneath. The helmet retains its original blood soaked liner and chinstrap. The helmet is a great and typical example of a helmet for a soldier that was Killed in Action. The helmet is in very nice untouched condition with the sawdust camouflage finish remaining up to 90%. The paint shows multiple repaints, one being a early smooth apple green factory reissue finished in the rough sawdust camouflage paint.

    Nice example of a late war Q64 no decal M40 helmet. The Quist firm produced the size 64 M40 helmet shell right up till late in 1944 whilst the other companies all adopted the M42 model. This helmet was made for all the branches just like the M42 helmet without decal. Hard to find late war M40 helmet without decal!
