Complete pre war EM34 rangefinder in camouflage pattern Emil Busch
Very nice EM34 Entfernungsmesser by Emil Busch. These where issued with all sorts of artillery pieces and machine guns. They where used to zero in these heavy weapons to shoot accurately on long distances. The range finder comes complete with its original tripod and both the leather cases. The optics look to be in good condition and see through just fine. The optics are clear but I am unable to test wether it is in working condition. This is one of the best ones I’ve had the pleasure of offering especially in the full period paint finish and complete with all leather straps and cups.

Very nice US paratrooper wrist compass by Superior Magneto. Nicely dated and marked. These compasses where also known to been worn over the sleeve, the shoulder loops, webbing, or at the ankle over the jump boots. Wrist compasses were used both by officers and enlisted men. A very nice example that would be hard to upgrade.

Very nice original German PAK sight marked Z.F. 3×8 DZL indicating production by Optische Anstalt Oigee G.m.b.H.,, Berlin-Schoeneberg. The sight is in good condition with working optics. The rubber is supple and not rotten. If you really need to use them to stop hordes of T34’s I would suggest prior cleaning otherwise a very nice display piece!

Nice original P38 hardshell holster that was gifted by a Canadian army officer to a young boy in Zeist in 1945. Sadly the father of the boy threw the P38 in the moat of castle Zeist. Nicely maker marked cxb 41.

MG42 cleaning can
German machine guns were commonly supplied with soaking cans for muzzle components the make cleaning easier. The soaking medium was kerosene, referred in the German literature as Petroleum. The practice went back at least as early as the MG 08-15. The mg42 soaking can was designed to hold the recoil booster assembly, which consists of the flash suppressor, recoil booster housing, and recoil booster cone.

MG34 and MG42 barrel changing mitt
Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

Mint NCO M43 Heer field blouse for Unteroffizier u. Offiziersanwarter in a Pionierabteilung
Stone mint NCO M43 tunic for a Unteroffizier u. Offiziersanwarter in a Pionierabteilung. The garment is a stunning mint example with full wartime factory sewn Brustadler, Einheitskragenlitzen and Unteroffizierstresse. The garment isn’t shortened or tailored in any way. The garment retains all wartime sewn buttons which one being a period replacement. The left breast pocket is adorned with a set of three award loops. The garment is a nice medium size fitting most modern mannequins. This really is a choice and textbook example of a M43 field blouse that would be impossible to upgrade.

Waffen-SS plane tree 4/4 Zeltbahn mixed with blurred edge
A very nice original plane tree 4/4 overprint and hand screened Waffen-SS Zeltbahn in very good condition. Nicely marked with numbers 4 and 4. The Zeltbahn retains its colours and contrast and most of its originally sewn buttons. The colours are nice, bright and full of contrast. The garment is constructed with Plane Tree 4/4 for the main panels finished with Blurred Edge for the sides. The Zeltbahn has a few hand sewn repairs. The Zeltbahn would be a awesome backdrop for any collection or a nice addition to a A-frame. The mixed manufacture is a true stunner and must have for the Waffen-SS camouflage collector!

Rare bakelite 6×30 Dienstglas CXN in near mint condition
One of the rarest bits of German army equipment. A stunning pair of 6×30 Dienstglas binoculars marked CXN indicating production by Emil Busch. The binoculars have clear lenses without scratches. The binoculars still retain all of their bakelite without any serious defects. The binoculars are nicely adjustable. The right eyepiece retains the Strichplatte and the sight is clear! They are fitted with a textbook strap that is affixed to two sets of bales on the reverse of the main body. I have added two pictures of these type of binoculars in use. Bakelite binoculars can be seen on the left hand side of the picture worn by the Unterscharführer in Kampfgruppe Knittel at the Kaiserbaracke crossroads.
A very rare pair of binoculars in very good, near mint condition – surely the best pair on the market today!

Superb and the first compass I see with a unit marking. The compass is a textbook Busch example with its original factory mounted sling. The compass is marked 2./A.R.58 indicating 2. Kompanie Artillerie Regiment 58 which started the war in France and ended in Kurland.

Single decal Heer M18 Transitional helmet
Stunning M18 transitional single decal Heer helmet. The helmet retains up to 99% of its original finish and decal. The helmet was reworked around 1942 to ’40 specs with rough textured paint and a Huber-Jordan & Körner Heer decal. The helmet comes with its original liner in size 58. The top of the helmet shows remnants of a ‘mail home label’ making this a highly probable war souvenir. Very nice helmet in exceptional condition that would be hard to upgrade!

Late war Q62 no decal M40 helmet
Nice example of a late war Q62 no decal M40 helmet. The Quist firm produced the size 62 M40 helmet shell right up till late in 1944 whilst the other companies all adopted the M42 model. This helmet was made for all the branches just like the M42 helmet without decal. The helmet is in good used condition with its originally mounted liner and (broken) chinstrap. The helmet retains remnants of a former whitewash.

A textbook Heer M40 single decal helmet marked Q64 indicating production by Quist. The helmet is complete with its original liner and chinstrap that are original to the helmet. The liner and chinstrap is original to the helmet and in good light used condition. The chinstrap is full length, supple and marked. The liner is named to Ufken. The helmet retains up to 90% of its original factory paint and 95% of its period lacquered decal. All in all a very nice helmet in very good condition.

Very nice US M1 front seam swivel bale helmet in very good issued condition. The helmet is dusty and in the condition as it was found in household cleaning in Germany. The helmet comes with its Seaman made liner. The liner chinstrap is broken and inside the liner. Externally the liner is adorned with a Lieutenant bar. Typical late war helmet in good used condition!

Maker marked 22 indicating production by Bebrit-Preßstoffwerke GmbH, Bebra und C.F. Schlothauer, Ruhla. These are both marked 2496 and would be very hard to upgrade!
