The garment is typically sewn on the sides with a double needle chainstitched seam and the rest finished with a single needle machine. The rayon drawstring is original to the piece and woven through handsewn holes. All of the foliage loops are present although there are two loose parts. The sleeves are finished with hand screened 1/2 plane tree. The elastic on the sleeves is no longer functional and have never been removed or replaced.
