  • M42 unmarked canteen with gabardine cover and bi-colour strap

Textbook late war construction canteen in good used condition. The steel red painted flask itself is unmarked. The cover is a typical late war gabardine (smooth cloth) cover with 3 press studs. The strap is a very interesting example in the late war two-piece construction using brown and black (bi-colour) leather and buckle without a roller which looks colorful and aesthetic. The strap is nicely marked FWBN 43 which indicates production by F.W. Brockelmann Aluminiumwerk GmbH KG, Neheim/Ruhr. In my opinion the canteen is an unmarked example from the maker FWBN as well! In textbook late war configuration with a black bakelite cup marked 7M/S.

  • Untouched bleached first pattern Heer EM tropical tunic

A textbook untouched and bleached early EM tunic for a member of the Afrikakorps. The tunic is a first pattern example with wartime factory sewn Litzen in strong worn condition. The breast eagle is resewn to the garment but it is a authentic example with the same patina. The Litzen are straight machine sewn with handsewn ends. The garment is a nice medium size fitting mist modern mannequins. As most of the members of the Afrikakorps capitulated in 1943, only very little original early garments remain in collections today. A stunning textbook bleached first pattern example in strong combat worn condition that is the pinnacle for Afrikakorps collectors.
