A mint M42 Kochgeschirr marked ESB43 and ESB44indicating production early 1944 by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin. The messkit is painted red oxide covered externally finished in olive paint. The messkit retains up to 99% of its original brown finish. Out of hundreds of mess kits, this is the best one I’ve had the pleasure to offer yet!
