M35 Heer Battledamaged textured three-tone EF62 camouflage helmet
Stunning original battle damaged M35 three-tone camouflage helmet. Nicely marked EF62 indicating production by Emaillierwerke Fulda with its original size 55 liner. The helmet retains up to 85% of its original wartime field applied camouflage paint. The helmet has a small shrapnel damage on the rear skirt that most probably was a lucky catch to the wearer. The helmet is a nice and typical three-tone camouflage helmet with a nice battle damage!

These gloves are constructed out of a very thin but warm type of fabric which would make it easy to use your hands even when wearing the gloves. The gloves are a medium to large size and would be great on a combat officers mannequin or for a personal item display!

Beautiful black/brownish bakelite canteen cup in a good condition which shows a lot of wear but no cracks or any major damages. The MPD code 1W/S Indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland and that the used material is Phenolic resin (bakelite) with sawdust as the filler material. Nice brownish bakelite cup to complete a canteen or a display!

General purpose dust goggles or “Umbral” goggles as patented and produced by Carl Zeiss, Jena. The construction of the goggles indicate that it’s late war production. The goggles itself are made out of a sort of tan coloured rubberized material which is unusual and looks great!

Schreiber first served in 223 Infanterie Division and he was awarded the Eisernes Kreuz II Klasse, Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and the Ostmedaille. Interesting Soldbuch that would be a nice base for further research!

Original 1943 dated “blaugrau” buttons for Heer, Luftwaffe and SS. In 1943 a new “einheitsfarbe” meaning colour for all branches was introduced and used on all garments. This was never fully implemented but a large portion of the M43 and most if not all M44 tunics received these. From that date onwards “Graublau” was the new textbook colour for pebbled buttons on uniforms. These can be seen on original m42, m43 and m44 tunics, mantels and caps. Also the M43 tropical uniforms and Fliegerblusen featured these!
