Rare pre war MG34 barrel carrier dated 1939 in excellent condition. This carrier is a rare example as 99% of these carriers were reissued and refinished postwar or simply did not survive the war. The carrier is in excellent condition with up to 90% of its factory finish. The carrier reteains its factory applied carrying sling. Hard to find example!

Textbook pre war MG34 ammunition case carrying strap or Tragegurt 34 in very good condition. These straps where issued to MG crews and assisted in carrying the MG34 ammunition boxes. The material is strong and in very good condition. The strap is nicely ink stamped and dated 1938! These straps are hard to come by and would display nicely with a pair of ammunition boxes or on a MG crew mannequin. Excellent pre war example in good condition!

Hard to find black Pressstoff MG34 u. MG42 tool pouch with a webbing/rayon closing strap. The pouch is nicely marked fuq 1945 indicating production by Curt Vogel, Cottbuss. The pouch is in very good condition and complete with its original wooden and steel inserts. Excellent example!

MG42 spare parts tin dated 1945. A rare small metal container that fitted inside the MG34 u. MG42 tool pouch and contained a number of spare ejectors, extractors, firing pins and springs. I have never seen a 1945 dated example. The case was marked post war which could be removed but is arguably a interesting part of its history. Hard to find!

MG42 soaking can marked Petr.-Büchse f. Rückstossverst. z. M.G.42 ddf. German machine guns were commonly supplied with soaking cans for muzzle components the make cleaning easier. The soaking medium was kerosene, referred in the German literature as Petroleum. The practice went back at least as early as the MG 08-15.  The mg42 soaking can was designed to hold the recoil booster assembly, which consists of the flash suppressor, recoil booster housing, and recoil booster cone. Rare piece for the MG42!

Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!
