  • Mint gasmask strap set dated 1939

  • Named gasmask to UFFZ Brauwer Artillerie Regiment 1716

    A interesting German gasmask and its canister in very good condition. It is named to Unteroffizier H. Brauwer of ArtillerieRegiment 1716. Artillerie Regiment 1716 played a vital role in the battle for Normandy. Spread on the rear flank of Omaha– and Sword beach. Also stationed in Breville and Merville where the British 6th Airborne division landed. One or two kilometers from the beaches or in the middle of the British drop zone they must have had a lot of action on June 6, 1944. A can from my personal collection, in very good, lightly used condition with a VERY interesting unit marking! A must have for any D-day collector!

    The regiment was spread in the following order;

    Artillerie-Regiment 1716 (Oberstleutnant Helmut Knüppe – CP: La Folie/Beuville)
    I./1716 (CP: Colomby-sur-Thaon)

    4./1716 : 4x 15,5 cm sFH 414 (f) (CP: Ouistreham, Château d’Eau -water tower-/Wn 12)

  • CKL71 M38 Fallschirmjäger helmet from the woodwork in Schoonebeek NL

    Stunning untouched late war M38 paratrooper or Fallschirmjäger helmet marked CKL71 indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke Thale. This helmet was obtained from the woodwork, today, in Schoonebeek near the German border in the northern Netherlands. The helmet most probably belonged to a member of the 1. Fallschirmjägerarmee which fought in the north of the Netherlands, early in 1945. The helmet is a typical late war example with simplified chinstrap and slotted vented bolts. The helmet retains its original liner and chinstrap which have never been removed from the helmet. The helmet is a nice large size 71 shell. The liner is named Supper. The stitching in the lining crown is gone. The chinstrap is in a single piece and has a handsewn period repair near the friction buckle. The helmet is externally field repainted two times; one in a grey blue and later covered in a dark green brush applied camouflage paint finish with a finger print on the right side edge. The helmet was found by me today and has never been in a collection before. Surely a attractive late war paratrooper helmet that would be a nice addition to any collection!

The case was originally found in Saint-Côme-du-Mont, right in the middle of the dropzones for the 101st Airborne Division in Normandy. The case has wartime applied stencils for the E for Ersatzteilkasten and a additional Gurtfuller marking on the top indicating it would have once housed the belt loader. The closing clasp is broken which is typical for these early cases. The case is a beautiful camouflaged example that would be very hard to upgrade and a nice honest piece!

  • MG34 u. MG42 MGZ34 optics case in two tone camouflage

    MG34 u. MG42 MGZ34 optics case in two tone camouflage. Hard to find optical case for the MGZ34 Lafette optics for the MG34. The case retains the original inserts and backstraps. This is the first time I have seen one of these cases in the sought after camouflage paint. The pull tab of the closing latch is a period replacement made out of a piece of leather. Really interesting example in used condition in the typical two tone camouflage pattern which can be attributed to FJR6!

  • Rare(!) Waffen-SS belt and buckle set marked RZM ᛋᛋ 35/36 and ᛋᛋ 1/36 RZM

    Extremely scarce, pre war, Waffen-SS officer equipment belt and buckle set. The belt and buckle have always been together, both the belt and buckle are RZM marked. The buckle is marked RZM ᛋᛋ 35/36  indicating production by Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid in 1935 which is one of the earliest production runs. The belt itself is marked ᛋᛋ 1/36 RZM which also leads to production by Overhoff. The belt and buckle have been specifically made for eachother; the prongs are on the loose part, and the buckle itself does not have prongs but is sewn directly into the belt. Most of the buckles I have seen on in collections or forums have the prongs attatched to the buckle itself, this is a rare variant specifically made for and factory attatched to this leather belt. The hanger is a variant which has a elongated square, flat piece of metal just like the normal belt hooks for enlisted men. The buckle and the belt have always been together and show a very nice, natural light patina. The belt and buckle have been worn but only lightly. The finish to the buckle retains up to 99% and would be impossible to upgrade. The length of the belt can be adjusted between 95 and 110 cm which, in my opinion, is the perfect mannequin size. A textbook, matching belt and buckle set that would be a top shelf piece in any buckle collection – I am sure you will be hard pressed finding a comparable example!
