Heer NCO M43 cap made from Dutch wool
NewHeer NCO M43 cap made from Dutch wool. Interesting original example. This cap was made using wool scraps from Dutch uniforms. The side panels are made from several fully horizontally joined pieces with coarse hand stitches. I believe that the thread used was once exactly the same colour as the wool but less color fast in UV light exposure. If one observes the stitches you can see that these panels were sewn prior to the construction of the cap completely ruling out of it being a repair. The cap retains its original insignia which to me is sewn with the same hand and thread as the cap itself. The cap is in good, lightly worn condition and is made using fully Dutch lining and wool. Hard to find and nice variant!

Aluminium MG34 u. MG42 ammunition case in two tone camouflage
Stunning aluminium MG34 u. MG42 ammunition case in factory brown/blue camouflage with a later field applied tan camouflage. The case is a nice early example with a wartime tan camouflage finish. The case was originally found in Saint-Côme-du-Mont, right in the middle of the dropzones for the 101st Airborne Division in Normandy. The case has wartime applied stencils for the E for Ersatzteilkasten and a additional Gurtfuller marking on the top indicating it would have once housed the belt loader. The closing clasp is broken which is typical for these early cases. The case is a beautiful camouflaged example that would be very hard to upgrade and a nice honest piece!

Rare(!) Waffen-SS belt and buckle set marked RZM ᛋᛋ 35/36 and ᛋᛋ 1/36 RZM
Extremely scarce, pre war, Waffen-SS officer equipment belt and buckle set. The belt and buckle have always been together, both the belt and buckle are RZM marked. The buckle is marked RZM ᛋᛋ 35/36 indicating production by Overhoff & Cie, Lüdenscheid in 1935 which is one of the earliest production runs. The belt itself is marked ᛋᛋ 1/36 RZM which also leads to production by Overhoff. The belt and buckle have been specifically made for eachother; the prongs are on the loose part, and the buckle itself does not have prongs but is sewn directly into the belt. Most of the buckles I have seen on in collections or forums have the prongs attatched to the buckle itself, this is a rare variant specifically made for and factory attatched to this leather belt. The hanger is a variant which has a elongated square, flat piece of metal just like the normal belt hooks for enlisted men. The buckle and the belt have always been together and show a very nice, natural light patina. The belt and buckle have been worn but only lightly. The finish to the buckle retains up to 99% and would be impossible to upgrade. The length of the belt can be adjusted between 95 and 110 cm which, in my opinion, is the perfect mannequin size. A textbook, matching belt and buckle set that would be a top shelf piece in any buckle collection – I am sure you will be hard pressed finding a comparable example!
