Speckled brown bakelite 6×30 Dienstglas container
€325.00A stunning speckled brown bakelite 6×30 binocular case. Later in the war when the Germans ran out of pigment for bakelite they switched over to different fillers. Sawdust was one of the filling materials used, creating a interesting speckled finish. The brown bakelite dienstglas containers where mostly found with tan 6×30 binoculars. The case is in very good, undamaged condition and has a very aesthetic and vibrant light brown colour which would nicely attribute a late war uniform setup.

82nd Airborne grouping to Harry Hudec 508th PIR
Unique opportunity; a grouping directly veteran acquired from Harry Hudec, 508th PIR 82nd Airborne division. One of the most well known individual soldiers in the 82nd Airborne division; Harry Hudeck landed on D-Day. He fought at Hill 30 between Chef du Post and Picauville. He was wounded in the leg June 15 and hid in a farmhouse where he was aided by locals for four days. He escaped and rejoined the American lines to be evacuated. His second combat jump was in Holland on September 17 and after he fought in the Ardennes. This is a unique opportunity to buy a grouping of relics which have belonged to Harry Hudec!

The shoulderstraps are slightly different in detail; but perfectly displayable on a tunic or in a collection as is. The straps at some point have had a second pair of pips applied to them indicating the original wearer was most probably demoted.

Heer Infanterie officers crusher cap or Feldmütze Alter Art
Stunning example of a Heer infantry crusher, Feldmütze Alter Art or Knautschmütze. The cap is made with Dutch lining material inside which is a neat feature. These fieldcaps where incredibly popular with officers during the war. The cap is in great condition with a great patina all over. The cap can be formed to fit on a mannequin display but is otherwise folded flat as a envelope. The cap is a nice size 56-57 that should fit most modern militaria mannequins. The crusher bears the Waffenfarbe of the Infanterie. These caps are getting increasingly difficult to find and this one is definitely one of the nicest ones we’ve had on offer. A great example!
