    Rare large sized originally badged Heer M34 sidecap with the wartime applied dark blue Soutache for Sanitätstruppen. The cap is a very nice large size 60 fitting most if not all modern mannequins and is nicely maker marked and dated inside. The soutache is wartime applied by the soldier and shows remnants of a earlier orange soutache inside. Looking under the flaps you can see the end material with the white rows is used. A really nice untouched cap in a rare large size!

  • US M1 Schlueter navy medic helmet LST 520

    Sale!

    Very nice lightly worn US M1 swivel bale Schlueter Navy helmet. The helmet is marked 520 on the front indicating USNS T-LST-520 which was a US Navy LST-491 Class Tank Landing Ship. During World War II, LST-520 was assigned to the European theater and participated in the invasion of Normandy in June 1944. She was then assigned to the pacific theater and took part in the assault and occupation of Okinawa Gunto. The back of the helmet shows the outlines of a Red Cross indicating the individual helmet was worn by a medic. The helmet retains its original Firestone liner.

    The death card of Unteroffizier Alois Berger; killed in action 4.1.1945 in Bras – Bastogne in the Belgian Ardennes. Berger was awarded the Iron Cross 2 and 1st class together with other military awards. Berger is buried in Recogne.

  • Soldbuch Grouping of Obgf. Ernst Pfeifer Flak Reg. 24

    Complete Soldbuch grouping of Obergefreiter Ernst Pfeifer who served on the eastern front between 1941 and 1944 with 1./Flak Regiment 24 attached to the 4. Panzer Gruppe active in army group centre. He was wounded by shrapnel in September 1944 and transferred to Flakabteilung 481 by the end of the year. This unit was engaged with French and American forces in the Colmar pocket. Pfeifer was awarded with the Ostmedaille, Flakkampfabzeichen and the Verwundetenabzeichen im Schwarz. The group comes with a number of other documents all on the name Pfeifer.

    Soldbuch of Franz Öhlinger who served under 12./SS Polizei Regiment 19 and later 4. Pol. Wach-Battl 17 XVII (Wien). The Soldbuch is in good complete condition and comes with picture and many entries. A nice Soldbuch that would be a great base for further research. Öhlinger was awarded the war merits cross second class with swords.

  • Rare complete MG34 and MG42 armourers field tool kit

    Superb and complete 1941 dated MG34 and MG42 Kleiner Werkzeugkasten für Waffenmeister. These tool kits where issued to be able to do the basic repairs and maintenance to the MG34 and MG42. The set retains all of those small items that are easily lost. The caliber proof, the file and the wet stone are all there and marked. The set comes its very nice 1941 dated ammunition tin retaining full wartime paint and leather handle protectors. The case would be a asset to any equipment and or machine gun orientated collection. The set is in my opinion unissued and unused. Most of these will have found their way post war civilian life; this one is still complete in original configuration. Choice example!

    Textbook Luftwaffe M43 field cap maker marked RBNr. 0/0678/5015 indicating production by Franz Ritter vorm. Carl Roth Würzburg, dated September 1944 in size 56. The cap is a textbook example in very good, lightly worn condition. The cap is adorned with a cockade and eagle which are neatly sewn but in my opinion restored to the cap. The insignia is not sewn through the lining and the lining has not been opened. This is visually impossible to see in hand and on photographs. But this is my opinion. The wool retains virtually all of the nap and doesn’t show a lot of wear. Textbook cap in great condition!

  • MG34 and MG42 barrel changing mitt

    Rare wartime barrel changing mitt for the MG34 and MG42. When firing the MG34 and MG42 continuously the German soldiers where presented with a harsh and difficult task: changing the barrel. The MG34 and MG42 where both made with a quick-change barrel and to help in the changing of the barrel these gloves where invented and issued. These gloves where issued with the accessories of the MG34 and MG42. It is simply used by placing the hand under the strap and using the pad to cover your hand when you grab the hot, sometimes even glowing barrel. The barrel is then placed in the Laufschützer to cool down and a cool new barrel is inserted. According to regulations, the barrel had to be changed after 150 rounds fired continuously. Hard to find item!

    Late war Heer M44 field blouse for a Panzergrenadier. The tunic is in good unissued condition with minimal storage wear. The garment retains most of the nap in the wool. All the insignia are factory sewn without alterations. The garment retains all of its originally sewn buttons. The shoulders are adorned with a set of late war EM M43 pattern Panzergrenadier shoulderstraps. The garment is a medium size good for most modern or vintage mannequins. The garment has some storage wear and a few repair but is otherwise a stellar unissued example. Hard to upgrade!

  • ET62 M35 three-tone camouflage helmet

    Stunning original M35 helmet in vibrant three-tone Normandy camouflage pattern. The M35 retains up to 90% of its original wartime applied camouflage paint with strong vibrant colours. Nicely marked ET62 indicating production by Eisenhüttenwerke Thale. The helmet is complete with its liner and is in untouched, as found condition. The helmet shows signs of decals under the camouflage paint. The helmet was originally found in household clearing in the Hilversum, the Netherlands where a bunch in this camouflage pattern have turned up over the years. This helmet is a spectacular example of a three-tone camouflage on a M35 Heer/Waffen-SS helmet. A stunning helmet that would fit in most if not all camouflage helmet collections!

    Nice original P38 hardshell holster that was gifted by a Canadian army officer to a young boy in Zeist in 1945. Sadly the father of the boy threw the P38 in the moat of castle Zeist. Nicely maker marked cxb 41.

  • MG42 cleaning can

    German machine guns were commonly supplied with soaking cans for muzzle components the make cleaning easier. The soaking medium was kerosene, referred in the German literature as Petroleum. The practice went back at least as early as the MG 08-15.  The mg42 soaking can was designed to hold the recoil booster assembly, which consists of the flash suppressor, recoil booster housing, and recoil booster cone.

    Very nice EM34 Entfernungsmesser by Emil Busch. These where issued with all sorts of artillery pieces and machine guns. They where used to zero in these heavy weapons to shoot accurately on long distances. The range finder comes complete with its original tripod and both the leather cases. The optics look to be in good condition and see through just fine. The optics are clear but I am unable to test wether it is in working condition. This is one of the best ones I’ve had the pleasure of offering especially in the full period paint finish and complete with all leather straps and cups.

    Very nice original German PAK sight marked Z.F. 3×8 DZL indicating production by Optische Anstalt Oigee G.m.b.H.,, Berlin-Schoeneberg. The sight is in good condition with working optics. The rubber is supple and not rotten. If you really need to use them to stop hordes of T34’s I would suggest prior cleaning otherwise a very nice display piece!

The helmet comes with its Seaman made liner. The liner chinstrap is broken and inside the liner. Externally the liner is adorned with a Lieutenant bar. Typical late war helmet in good used condition!
