US M1942 Coat, Parachute, Jumper size 38R
Unissued textbook M1942 Coat, Parachute, Jumper in size 38R. The Jacket is in good unissued condition with all press studs in good working condition. The seams are all strong and as long as I can see there are no damages to the cloth. The left sleeve has some minor stains but nothing serious. The long zipper is functional and a typical Crown type but at some point its slider was replaced with – a Crown marked example. The short zipper is also functional. The jacket is marked in the back with a laundry number which would give room for further research. The jacket retains its original waist belt which is firmly factory attached to the back loop. A very nice and original M1942 jump jacket in mint unissued condition – perfect for a mannequin base!

Nice original Erkennungsmarke or ID disc marked 1./Pi.Ers.Btl.9 indicating 1. Kompanie Pionier Ersatz Battalion 9 which fell under the 159 Reserve Division which was stationed on the Atlantikwal and suffered heavy casualties as it withdrew when the allies landed in southern France. The tag comes with its typical cord albeit shortened. A nice piece with possibility for further research.

Zinc Erkennungsmarke 4./ Ers. I.R. 19
A nice original Erkennungsmarke marked 4./ Ers. I.R. 19 indicating 1. Kompanie Ersatz abteilung Infanterie Regiment 19 which played a vital role in the 1939 campaign pushing into Poland. The 10th of may 1940 it was the first unit to breach to Juliana Kanaal fortifications in the Netherlands and pushed onwards to the Scheldt. After the 1940 campaign it was sent to the eastern front and saw actions right until the end of the war. The low number and the abbreviation “J.R.” on the aluminum Erkennungsmarke indicates a early manufacture. The disc is made in Zinc and should ideally be cleaned!

USMC M1917 helmet
Near mint world war one period M1917 helmet with period applied EGA insignia and a Z356 marked shell. The insignia is applied through a pierced, not drilled hole in the front. These helmets where worn by members of the USMC attached to the 2nd ID fighting in world war two including the infamous battle at Belleau Wood. Rare helmet!

Rare original US roll up mapcase maker marked and dated Meese. Inc. 1944. Originally stock number 24C-539-20 these mapcase were most probably used by CO’s in the field and most probably stored inside vehicles. The tie straps are undamaged and functional. The see through plastic grid is intact and undamaged. These map cases are incredibly rare!

Pre war Austrian Steingrau trousers
Exceptional pre war Austrian stone grey or Steingrautrousers in near mint condition. Typical pre war trousers that where captured, issued and used in the 1940 campaign. Due to large uniform shortages the stores of the Austrian army where massively looted and redistributed by the German army in 1940. These trousers are in near mint condition and are a good medium size fitting for most if not all modern sized mannequin. The wool is in perfect condition without only one or two small moth holes. All buttons are present and originally sewn. The trousers are a perfect example for a textbook 1940 campaign mannequin and would be very hard to upgrade – if you have been looking out for pre war stone grey trousers for a mannequin; this is it!

Nice original Erkennungsmarke or ID disc marked Stamm-Komp. Pi. Ers. Btl. 16 indicating Stamm-Kompanie Pionier Ersatz Batalion 16 which was later reformed into an armoured pioneer unit and renamed to Stamm Kompanie Panzer Pionier ersatz Battalion 16. This unit was under the 16. Panzerdivision which predominantly saw action on the east. Rare original Erkennungsmerke for a Panzer-Pionier unit!

Short Reichswehr period gasmask canister with Cyrillic volunteer name
Rare example in good used condition with a wartime repaint in Feldgrau. The top of the canister bears a Cyrillic name АОЯІОШИН which translates to AOJAІOŠIN. This is most probably a name for a eastern ‘volunteer’ serving on the Atlantikwal. Very hard to find original gasmask with a Cyrillic ‘volunteer’ name

NS62 M35 single decal Heer helmet
Textbook M35 helmet produced to M40 specifications marked NS62 indicating production by Vereinigte Deutsche Nikelwerke, Schwerte. This M35 helmet was produced in 1940 during the switchover to the M40 type helmet. Hence it was produced with one decal and a dull and slightly textured finish. These helmet where only produced for a few months and are not to be confused with a reissue type helmet. The helmet is in very good untouched condition with 90% of the decal and 90% of the factory paint remaining. The helmet is complete with its factory fitted reinforced aluminum liner and chinstrap. Very nice example in good untouched condition – just how I like them most!

Document grouping with matching shoulderstraps to Infanterie Regiment 57
Nice original document grouping to Unteroffizier Paul Reichmann, Infanterie Regiment 57 which was a part of the 9. Infanterie Division which fought throughout the war. Starting may 10 1940, 9.ID crossed Luxembourg into Belgium with the first major battles around Amiens and at the Somme. It then crossed the Oise river and was one of the first units to march into Paris. In June 1941 it was moved into action on the eastern front fighting at Mosastyr and broke through the Stalinlinie. It was well occupied until 1943 when it was ordered to defend the Kuban bridgehead. 9. October 1944 the division was reformed into the 9. Volksgrenadier Division which was moved west and soon to be put into battle during the Ardennes offensive. On 24. December 1944 the division assembled in Manderscheid where it was sent into the offensive fighting at Bastogne, Wilz and Vianden.
The grouping consists of three award documents for the Eisernez Kreuz 2. Klasse, Winterschlacht im Osten and the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen in Silber. The EK2 document is signed by Knights Cross wearer Generalmajor Siegmund Freiherr von Schleinitz. The documents are accompanied with a set of matching and cyphered shoulderstraps to Infanterie Regiment 57.
A very nice original document set with matching shoulderstraps for a very interesting unit!

Rare leather tab for the parade belt
Rare original leather cloth protector that was worn on the tongue of the belt and kept the buckle from fraying up the tunic. These are virtually always missing from the parade belts and this is the first one I’ve ever encountered!

Near mint original Heer officers cap with the bright red piping for Artillerie. The cap is in very good near mint condition and does not show moth damage to the piping or the base of the cap. The cap retains its originally sewn visor and sweatband. The cap is a nice large size 58.

Ardennes Death card KIA Kalborn 24.1.1945
Death card of Unteroffizier Felix Dirnberger who was killed in action during the Ardennes offensive. Dirnberger was 33 years old and was killed in action in Kalborn, Luxembourg on 24.1.1945 later to be reburied in Daleiden, Germany. He was awarded Eisernez Kreuz 2. Klasse, Infanterie Sturmabzeichen and the Ostmedaille.

Ardennes Death Card KIA Rodershausen 22.1.1945
Death card of Obergefreiter Josef Reindl. Was killed in action during the Ardennes offensive. Reindl was 39 years old and was killed in Rodershaufen near Dasburg, Luxenbourg on 22.1.1945 later to be reburied in Sandweiler, Luxenbourg. He was awarded the Kriegsverdienstkreuz with swords.
