  • Ardennes Death Card KIA St. Vith/ Rohrbusch FJR9

Impressive death card to Georg Schmerold, Obergefreiter and Gruppenführer in a Fallschirmjäger-Panzerjäger unit. Killed in action 17th of January 1945 as a member of the 14.

Schmerold was killed by a bullet to the head at 26 years of age.

  • Stunning original M40 Heer chickenwire in three-tone ‘Normandy’ camouflage

Simply the best chickenwire helmet I’ve had to offer! A truly spectacular example of a Heer single decal M40 helmet marked ET64 with a wartime added half basket chickenwire cover overpainted in three-tone Normandy camouflage. The chickenwire is the typical wartime used type as used to camouflage bunkers and positions. The chickenwire was period applied and has never been removed from the helmet. The chickenwire was over sprayed and retains tan, green and red paint vividly. Underneath the chickenwire retains 75 years of dust and patina; the helmet is a untouched and uncleaned example. The camouflage paint is vibrant and in good condition with loads of patina all over. Closeups of the paint show lots of cracks and patina. The helmet retains its factory fitted liner and period attached chinstrap which have always been with the helmet. The helmet is named Gefr. Striewe in the skirt of the helmet. This is simply the best helmet I’ve found in the last 10 years and would be a prime piece in any helmet collection – surely a one looker original and véry hard to upgrade.

  • Unique Waffen-SS helmet with original oak leaf cover found in Mons, Belgium

Superb and surely stunning original Waffen-SS helmet with the original Waffen-SS oakleaf cover it was found 4 years ago in Mons, Belgium. The helmet and its cover both show the same wear, patina and the cover surely is a exact fit. The cover retains the shape without the helmet and the helmet or its cover have not been cleaned after the find. The cover left the imprint of the seams and wrinkles on the helmet shell. It is unmistakable that this cover spent the last 75 years on top of this helmet. The cover is a textbook oakleaf example with anodized aluminum hooks finished with single needle sewing machine. The helmet is a textbook ckl64 marked example indicating production by Eisenhuttenwerke Thale. The helmet retains its original ET Waffen-SS decal up to 70%. One can find a SS helmet and or a cover; but finding a original set that has always been together is near impossible. A real conversation piece that would be a nice base for further research!

The helmet has the three tones tan, green and brown which are applied evenly over the helmet. The helmet is a stunning and incredibly rare example of a untouched Waffen-SS camouflage helmet!

  • Rare period Panzer school training and recognition wooden Tiger 1 model

Super scarce original wooden instruction model of a Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger 1 . This model once was used in the barracks of a Panzer school where it was used to indicate armor thickness, maneuverability and maintenance. This model is fully handcrafted out of wood with several small moving parts. The machingegun rotates in its ball-turret, as does the large turret with the main gun elevating. The wheels were made to be fully operational but it seems they are stuck at the moment. The right front fender has been glued. The tracks are period replacements made out of the typical woven canvas with a red line in it. The tank is quite big and heavy; I’ve pictured it next to a Panzer collar tab for scale. The Panzerkampfwagen VI Tiger 1 is a iconic piece that would be a centre piece in any Panzer collection. Out of all the Panzer recognition models this is the most sought after model that would nicely display with Panzer Wraps or Panzerkampfabzeichen!

The muzzle brake would be a epic man cave centerpiece and a guaranteed conversation piece. Most probably this is the only one we’ll ever be able to offer and a once in a lifetime chance to obtain such a unique item.

Kompanie Gebirgsjäger Regiment 99 which was a frontline unit mostly serving on the eastern front and started the war in Slovakia in 1939. The helmet has a period battle damage which most probably is a bullethole to the dome of the shell piercing the front of the shell. The helmet was most probably worn when it was hit as there are remnants of blood in the leather. The helmet only saw the light of day in Germany several years ago and has only been in a single collection eversince. The helmet is truly one of the most interesting early M35 helmets that I’ve seen out there and would be a crown in any helmet collection!
