    Excellent and well filled in soldbuch to Panzergrenadier Heinz Diether serving in Panzergrenadier Regiment 12. Diether was awarded the Kriegsverdienstkreuz II klasse, Eisernes Kreuz II klasse, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz, Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze, and the Nahkampfspange in Bronze. Diether served in the Kurland area and has a lot of interesting entries wich would prove a great base for extensive research!

    Excellent pre war M31 Zeltbahn in very good used condition. Early Luftwaffe issue example with unit markings for Luftnachrichten Abteilung 1/13 Drs and dated 1936. The Zeltbahn retains most if not all of its factory sewn buttons. There is use, some minor damages but nothing serious. The Zeltbahn retains a name tag to Wierzejewski Paul, 3. Kompanie Luftwaffe Nachrichten Abteilung 1.13. Very hard to find these early Zeltbahns with name tags!

    Clear mapcase insert in stone mint condition. These where issued with map cases and used to keep maps dry in the rain and folded on the right place. These where also used to draw on to the smooth transparent surface to keep the maps unmarked. This example is nicely marked St. Orthey, Marienberg 1938.

    Textbook early M35 pattern mapcase or Meldekartentasche. The mapcase was originally light brown coloured but it has been blackened due to later army regulations. The example is beautifully marked Ernst Kohnen, Solingen 1936 on the inside of the closing flap and on the back of the belt loops as well! Great 1936 dated mapcase which features the typical early/pre war orange stitching which can still be seen on the inside.

    Rare and very hard to find webbing carrying strap for the FF33 field telephone or Feldfernsprecher 33. The strap is complete but in strongly used condition and has some damages, thereby it can’t be used anymore for carrying the FF33 but it will still display very nice! Hard to find even in this condition!

    Hard to upgrade matching bayonet marked Berg & Co 1940 indicating production by Berg & Co. The bayonet is matching to its scabbard with the serial 6569 c and has nice clean bakelite grips. The bayonet is in very good uncleaned, unsharpened and matching (!) condition with 99% of its factory blueing. The bayonet comes together with its original leather frog. The frog is beautifully marked Josef Lechner, Hamburg 6.39 1941. Stunning bayonet with its original frog!

    Beautiful M42 canteen in untouched condition, the press studs are a bit rusty thereby we didn’t’t open it. The cup is nicely marked RFI 43 which indicates production by Rudolf Fissler KG, Idar-Oberstein in 1943. There flask itself is finished in the unusual green paint instead of the red primer! Nice untouched M42 canteen!

Schulze 01235B on the back with a purple coloured Kopiërstift which was often used to name or mark equipment. The feldpostnummer 01235B indicates Schulze served in the 3. Panzergrenadier Division which served in Italy and the Ardennes.

    Rare near mint US Navy M-450 flight cap with red rubber receiver cups in supple condition.

    US Navy M-450 summer flying helmet in unlined light tan coloured cotton.  This example is fitted with pressed leather earcups and chinpad. The chinpad and associated buckles are both very good as are the inner velveteen pads, with earphones,  the cups accommodate a pair of Original Telephonics Corporation Type TH-37 receivers with a 1200 Ohms resistance and rubber wiring loom.

    US Navy summer flying helmet type M-450-1 with receivers. Rare example ID’ed to PUCHEU, a member of Marine Scout-Bombing Squadron 231. This unit took part in the battle of Midway and Quadalcanal. The helmet is a early M-450-1 with rubber earcups and TH-37 receivers with rubber wiring loom. The chinstrap and buckles are in very good condition. Very nice and rare flight helmet that would be a great base for further research!

The vest is named P.E. Vincent. The vest is marked with USN indicating US Navy issue.
