    Textbook second pattern black butterdish or Fettbuchse marked with a 3 letter code which is rare to encounter on bakelite items. The butterdish is marked ggj/K, it is still unclear which maker ggj indicates. The lid has a small chip out of the bakelite. Very nice example!

    Rare general purpose goggles by Merz-Werke, Spez, Fbk., Frankfurt/ M.R. which are rather rare! These have a thin elastic rope instead of just a fabric strap to keep the goggles in place! Nice example made out of black Ersatz material with brown Ersatz material pouch as well! I have three of these examples available, all in similar condition!

    Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the “knijpkat” doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is in working condition but sometimes it falters a bit which is not disruptive. The “knijpkat” is in further mint condition and would look perfect in a display

  • Third pattern issue Marschkompass “A” made by Emil Busch AG, Rathenow (cxn)

    Excellent German army issue compass or Marschkompass. This is the the third pattern issued example made with a bakelite housing and with a capital “A” on top which indicates a clockwise 64 Mills direction. The production of this third pattern started post May 1944. The compass is nicely marked cxn which indicates production by Emil Busch A.-G., Rathenow. The compass is in good used condition and still complete with its salty factory issue string. Nice late war “A” marked compass!
