Pocket Litter

These cutlery sets were issued to enlisted men, NCO’s and officers. The set is in good used condition and would normally be one of the standard breadbag items! All the parts of this example are marked. Nice nearly completely matching set in very good condition!

Carl Zeiss “Umbral” dust goggles with grey leather base material. Textbook general issue dust goggles in good used condition.

Very nice original period German compass or Bézard-Kompass. The compass is in excellent condition and comes complete with its original leather issue pouch. Very nice example from a well known manufacturer!

Excellent German army issue compass or Marschkompass. This is the first issue pattern manufactured out of brass and aluminium. The compass is nicely marked cjy which indicates production by NEAG, Norddeutsche Elektro-Akustik Gesellschaft, Berlin. Nice early pattern issue compass in very good condition!

Textbook Göffel marked H.H.L. 40 which is for as far as I know still an unknown maker. H.H.L. is a rare makers mark to encounter!

Pertrix torch no 530 in very good condition.

Very nice period French manufactured “Wonder” torch in good, used condition. The torch has some usage to it but no damages at all, the leather strap is still complete and all the knobs are in place. These French made “Wonder” torches can be seen worn by German soldiers on multiple period photographs. Nice example!

Typical wartime “Knijpkat” torch. These flashlights where made utilizing forced labour from Konzentrationslager Herzogenbusch. Unlike most of the wartime used flashlights the “knijpkat” doesn’t have a battery but uses a small internal dynamo. The mechanism is still in great condition and the torch still works! Excellent example which is finished in blue paint which is a first for me!

Textbook second pattern butterdish with a nice deep brown accentuated tone set. Textbook second pattern with fine thread and a gripped bottom. Sadly the lid has a small damage to it but it can still be opened and closed. Uncommon brown coloured variant with large flakes of filler material which clearly shows on the outside. Note that this is not a brown 1944 dated example form the hoard find but a rare brown variation!

Rare original pre war military themed Harmonika marked Wenn Wir Marschieren. This pre war example was marketed for sale amongst Heer soldiers.

Large and complete box of spare heels. These were sometimes observed underneath German issue footwear; although they are civilian. The box bares the typical wartime motto ‘ Sammeln Sie dater die leeren Kartons’.

Rare general purpose goggles by Merz-Werke, Spez, Fbk., Frankfurt/ M.R. which are rather rare! These have a thin elastic rope instead of just a fabric strap to keep the goggles in place! Nice example made out of black Ersatz material with brown Ersatz material pouch as well! I have three of these examples available, all in similar condition!

Excellent German army issue compass or Marschkompass. This is the the third pattern issued example made with a bakelite housing and with a capital “A” on top which indicates a clockwise 64 Mills direction. The production of this third pattern started post May 1944. The compass is nicely marked cxn which indicates production by Emil Busch A.-G., Rathenow. The compass is in good used condition and still complete with its salty factory issue string. Nice late war “A” marked compass!
