This cross was instituted as a decoration to be awarded to NSB members in German service who had taken part in the campaign against Russia. The cross is in very good condition with only a minor damage to the enamel. The box is in good condition with most of the original finish remaining. Hard to find cased example!

The Dienstglas is complete with the original black Pressstoff carrying case dated 1942 and retains the bakelite rain cover and neck strap. The neck strap has a fragile point but is nicely marked bmj. Most parts (the binoculars itself, the case and the neck strap) are nicely marked bmj which indicates production by Hensoldt u. Soehne, Mechanisch-Optische Werke AG, Wetzlar. Sadly one of the bakelite eye cups is missing. Hard to encounter such a complete set!

US 101st Airborne grouping to Edward Dietz, 327 GIR

The group consists of his uniform removed insignia, a German language guide and a guide to Great Britain, his ribbon bars and his combat infantry badge. Other then that a number of postwar souvenirs that also belonged to him. There is more information to be found about him online; he was awarded two Purple Hearts and a bronze star medal. A nice group with potential for further research!

This bayonet is a nice veteran ringback souvenir consisting out of already rare items on their own. Superb set which deserves research into the name Jim Ramey for sure!
