Whilst being a award for the Dutch NSB or National Socialist movement, these badges can often be seen adorning the breast pocket of Waffen-SS Soldiers serving in 34 SS-Freiwilligen Grenadier Division Landstorm Nederland. The badge is in very good condition and has a nice bronze tone to it, I have photographed it next to a clearly silver example for comparison. Very hard to find badge!

Very nice example from a rare maker with webbing straps!

These plaques where made by a froundry in Couvin, Belgium in the 70’s by melting down artillery shell casings left behind from the battle of Bastogne.
