€325.00Woodwork find British paratrooper Stengun magazine bandoleer dated 1942. This is a textbook 1942 dated stengun bandoleer in good condition. These bandoleers were found a few months ago in a Italian housecleaning. They were all found together with their guns in what looks to be a Italian resistance stash. These bandoleers were probably dropped by the Brits and after the war simply forgotten. One can buy 1943 or 1944 dated examples every now and then but 1942 dated examples are more scarce. These bandoleers are all dusty, uncleaned and in unused condition. Nice opportunity to acquire a early example that has never been in a collection before!

The binoculars are in good condition, the bakelite is in good condition, the hinges are undamaged the inscriptions on the top are present. The oculars are loose as always but firmly attatched. The lower dust rings are present but a later model without adjustment notches. The hardware is made in a tan factory finish. The serial is 415405. The hinges are the model with small aperture. The binoculars are in excellent condition and very hard to find in undamaged condition!
The binoculars are optically OK but this can always be cleaned or improved; I will not touch or clean any of my optics.

The cup is nicely marked with the 3 letter code gfc 1941which indicates production by Julius Posselt, Gablonz an der Neisse, Reichsgau Sudetenland in 1941. The cup is MPD marked with the material K which indicates the usage of urea resin (which is a certain type of Bakelite) with an organic filler material. Nice uncommon green cup in very good condition which belongs in any canteen collection!

€250.00Textbook late war M42 canteen in very good, most likely unissued condition. The canteen features very nice brown leather straps. The canteen and the cup are both nicely marked CFL 44 which indicates production by Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke, Lüdenscheid in 1944. The cover shows some small discoloration and moth holes around the edges of the cup. Interestingly the cover is fitted the the wrong way around with the press studs on the right side instead of on the left but this is how I got it. Textbook M42 canteen!

Textbook late war M31 canteen with aesthetics brown leather straps which would be hard to upgrade!

Rare transitional Reichswehr messkit marked ESB 34
€225.00Very rare transitional Reichswehr period manufactured messkit in excellent condition. This model is a rare transitional example which would basically been produced after the M1910 and before the M1931 model. This transitional pattern has been produced in very small quantities after the introduction of the M1931 model. The messkit is finished in the typical field green paint for military use which retains for around 95%. The messkit is nicely marked ESB 34 which indicates production by Eduard Sommerfeld, Berlin in 1934. The messkit nicely named and comes together with its original 1938 dated strap. This is the first time I have had the chance to offer this rare pattern!

The case is a nice late war example marked brc 4 with two closing latches anr reinforced stamped shapes in the lid. The tool inlay is in good used condition but has some damaged clasps for affixing the tools. It looks to be complete but for the small stone files in the drawer. The inlay is dated 1943 which is nice, because most examples in collections and on the market are pre war/early examples most probably exported to Spain. Nice late war example in good used condition!

It was subsequently overpainted in field gray paint, later to be oversprayed in late war three-tone camouflage. The case retains up to 85% of this wartime applied camouflage paint. This case is in excellent condition and would be very hard to upgrade. A beautiful addition to any camouflage themed collection!

€7,750.00Late war Fallschirmjäger smock in Sumpftarn camouflage marked 0/1283/0040 IIB. This is a textbook late war Fallschirmjäger smock made in the hard edged Sumpftarn camouflage. This is the first type of Sumpftarn which was issued from early 1944 with its first documented action in Normandy. The smock has a tropical breast eagle which in my opinion is resewn to the piece. The smock retains all of its press studs and glass buttons on the front closure. The size is II B and not I B, the I an II is easily misread as the numerals are so close to eachother. The print is vibrant and full of contrast. A textbook and beautiful example!

Large 1930s commemorative plaque size 47 x 60 cm – Unser Tod – Euer Leben
€2,750.00Cast metal relief plaque with bronze patina, depicting two German figures; an SA man in field cap and a World War I soldier wearing an M16 helmet divided by a central cross backed by a German eagle. The lower section bears the raised inscription Unser Tod – Euer Leben which translates to Our death for your life . The composition symbolizes the ideological link between the fallen of the Great War and the new movement of the early 1930s. Unsigned or faintly marked “A./O. Jacobi” near lower right edge. The plaque is large sized 47 x 60 centimeters. Heavy metal base with bronzed surface, showing age-related oxidation and wear. Approx. early to mid-1930s production, likely intended as a local memorial or NS veteran commemorative piece. It is too big and heavy to ship so pickup is a MUST. There is one portion missing on the left centre but both figures are still intact. This is a impressive cast relief plaque, for sure a centre piece in any collection!

This filter and its accompanying pouch was made specifically for Kavalerie units before the M38 gasmask was introduced. The filters for the Reichswehr gasmasks are hard to find; this is the first time I’ve ever encountered the cavalry filter pouch with filter. The filter is in good condition but I believe there is some corrosion underneath the leather, but I chose not to remove it from its cover. This is a very rare Reichswehr era gasmask filter with pouch and belt attatchment!
