Very nice “tropical” M31 breadbag in good condition. This breadbag is most likely made in the Ghetto of Lodz, Poland which the Germans renamed into “Litzmannstadt”. They are made using parts of captured British equipment items. These British equipment items where left in 1940 when the (BEF) British Expeditionary Force evacuated to the United Kingdom. The Germans sent this British equipment to Litzmannstadt for recycling and a lot of work was put in disassembling every British equipment piece and recycling the individual parts into German army equipment. Y-straps, A-frames and rucksacks are a few of the items made in Litzmannstadt. Very nice original M31 breadbag!

Excellent and extremely rare set of side pouches for combat pioneers. The bag features extremely rare and hardly ever encountered dark green coarse webbing straps. These straps have only been encountered at these combat pioneer pouches, or canteens as far as my knowledge goes. All by all equipment which features this dark green coarse webbing is extremely rare and highly sought after by collectors. The set is in very good condition, it has one small repair and the long back straps has been reattached at some point. One of the two pouches features an ink stamp from postwar Czech storage, but these bags definitely belong to each other. The atypical construction of this pouch with a range of different materials including the dark green coarse webbing makes this set impossible to upgrade. For sure one of the best sets of combat pioneer pouches I have ever offered!

Rare Pioneer tool pouch manufactured out of black pressstoff complete with rare coarse webbing carrying strap. The tool pouch was issued to carry fuze setters, crimp tools and some other small items. The tool is nicely marked dob 1941 which indicates production by a still unidentified manufacturer. The pouch is in worn, untouched condition and is hard to find!

Nice original Gasplane in unissued/mint condition. The gascape is nicely marked aqd which indicates production by a still unidentified manufacturer. Hard to find a loose gascape and not just the pouch, perfect to fill up the pouch with an original gascape!

A very rare tropical Gasplane in unissued/mint condition complete with its original pouch. The gasplane is nicely marked pcd. Ope indicates Oppanol : a transparent versatile polymer, impervious to water and many different gases and resistant to chemicals. (Tp/Ark) indicates these where made for Tropical or Arctic use. One of the rarest gascapes to find!

Rare late war manufactured thin rubber gascape or Gasplane in very good condition. The gascape is a rare late war manufactured example made out of very thin rubber material which you can almost see through. The gas cape has one small damage as can be seen. Hard to find a loose gascape and not just the pouch, perfect to fill up the pouch with an original gascape! Very hard to upgrade late wart manufactured example!

Nice Luftwaffe issued wrist compass or Armkompass 39 (AK39). The compass is in good and working condition with its often missing original strap. The base material of the compass is in good, clear condition.

Short gasmask canister strap in good condition. Early example with three holes. The hook is marked A indicating production by Assmann.

Late war 4-panel M31 Zeltbahn in Telo Mimetico camouflage in good used condition. This is a rare late war variant, nicely marked RBNR.

Pioneer saw marked dob 1943 and Marke Steigo 1943 in good condition.

Late war tall M38 gasmask set with simplified canister in excellent condition. Beautiful canister with rubber tipped straps. The closing latch is a simplified stamped steel example. The mask is a textbook late war example with blue parts. Beautiful near mint set!

Typical short M38 canister dated 1937. It was first issued in the typical pre war green colour and was repainted with a brush applied dark green colour when the war progressed. It retains its pre war straps with leather reinforcements. The mask is a nice A1B variant with 1937 dated filter. The mask and the canister retain the same number. Nice used set!

German POW rucksack made from Zeltbahn material in good condition. After world war two a lot of German POW’s lost most if not all of their posessions. Items such as rucksacks became rare for the POW’s returning home. These men are known as Heimkehrer. With no means of buying new clothing or equipment everything that was stocked in the POW camps was utilised creating a miriad of rucksacks in all kinds of material, mostly tent material. I have seen many different variants, none of them are exactly the same. My guess is that every POW camp designed their own pattern with the materials available. This example fits right in this area. A genuine Heimkehrer Rucksack in good condition. Although most people would sell this as a ‘field made’ item, one could never prove that and I firmly believe that most of these were made in the POW camps. Nice piece!

M44 rucksack in blue canvas with webbing straps. Not to be confused with a Luftwaffe issue rucksack; this one was meant to be issued to the Heer, Waffen-SS, Luftwaffe and the Kriegsmarine. Nice late war variant in used condition!
