Butterdish – Trichromatic bakelite – 1944
The butterdish or “Fettbuchse” was the issue container for the German butter ration. The Germans where issued a amount of butter with their rations. Most standard butterdishes open in 1/4th of a turn and are made of bakelite.

Notes: This Trichromatic coloured butterdish is one of the rarest colours to encounter and highly collectible. It is a variant on all the different colours that where issued and used by the German army. Note the tiny red dots mixed trough the bakelite.
